SILVER COIN BANKING

2021 – 2022

I. Project Title
This project shall be entitled “Focus: The Power Now”.

II. Project Rationale


The project aims to help the employees manage their stress in terms of many aspects. It will
empower participants in developing and implementing effective stress management and
prevention measures at work, resulting in more productive employees.

III. Project Objectives


 Recognize how stress works and how it affects employees' health and behavior.
 Recognize the cognitive aspects of stress, particularly the impact of automatic thoughts
and internal dialogue on stressor assessment.
 Help employees in learning various relaxation techniques to alleviate muscle tension
caused by stress.

IV. Course Content Methodology


All the participants will be divided into four (4) batches so as to not hamper the operations and
will have a morning and afternoon batch for one day. The participants will be selected randomly,
and the final lineup will be communicated to the department heads at least weeks before the
event.

There will be registration an hour before the seminar starts. There would be 30 participants per
batch, and the program will be divided into four main parts.

This one-day training is meant to upgrade and equip the silver banking’s employees in the
financial department with the knowledge and skills in controlling their mental health by teaching
them effective strategies, techniques, and coping mechanisms to manage their stress and general
well-being while preparing financial statements, budget, expenses and other financial related
tasks. It is also meant to enhance their ability in the recognition of details by exposing them to the
various methods of preparation of financial statements and its other different forms.

It is again to create their awareness and provide employees a positive and proactive way to look
after their mental health by teaching strategies for resilience and positive thinking, as well as
tools on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The methods which would be used to address these issues are lecture method, brainstorming,
discussion, case study and trainee (client) centered activity.

Throughout the training, employee trainees shall be fed one time. The facilitators to man the
training shall be two (2) circuit supervisors and two (2) trained departments’ heads. All trainees
who attain seventy percent (70 %) in a written assessment shall be issued a certificate.

VI. Training Staff / Resource Persons


The HR Manager and the rest of the HR Department oversee this initiative. Ms. Maria Pilipina
Banilan is the guest speaker for this program, whereas she has vast experience in both industrial
and academic. And she'd been battling for years to find a way to deal with workplace stress.

VII. Participants
Participants in this training consist of employees selected by the department head. Each
department can allowed at least 8 employees.

VIII. Venue
The training will take place in the Silver Coin Banking Auditorium on the 3 rd floor, Makati City.
