■ DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
1. Lower Case Assembly Caution: Be sure to attach the removed filament tape
(Time Required: about 2 min) just as it was before removal.
1-1 Remove the battery cover assembly. (Fig. 1)
1-2 Remove the nine (9) screws marked [140] and the
three (3) screws marked [150]. The lower case assembly
can then be removed. (Fig. 1)

A.PREPARATION
1. PA-5D (AC adaptor) is used. (PA-51 are utilizable)
2. The volume is usually moved to the use position when no volume change is required.
3. Measuring instruments: Frequency counter, Level meter (with a JIS-C filter)
Note: Use a stereo plug and connect the 33 ohm load to the [PHONES] jack.

B.HOW TO ENTER THE TEST PROGRAM C2# G2#

While pressing the C2#, F2 and G2# keys, turn on the [STAND BY / ON] switch.

C.PROCEEDING THROUGH THE TEST PROGRAM


1. When the test program is started, " " appears on the LCD. F2

2. Select the test program item to be executed by pressing the [+] or [-] button.
3. Press the [START / STOP] button to execute testing.
• When the test result is OK, press the [START / STOP] button to return to the test item name on display.
Proceed to the next test by pressing the [-] or [+] button.
• When the test result is OK, an asterisk (*) is added in front of its item name on display.

• When the test result is NG, press the lowest (leftmost) white key on the keyboard to return to the test item name on display.

15 028 LCD On Check that all the dots of LCD light up. (The whole screen becomes white.)
16 029 LCD Off Check that all the dots of LCD disappears. (The whole screen becomes blue.)
17 031 PD1 Chk Connect the foot switch to the [FOOT SWITCH] jack.
Check that the C3 note is output when starting the test program.
Check that the C4 note is output when pushing the pedal and that tone is turned off when
releasing the pedal.
The test result appears on the LCD.
18 037 USB Chk The USB cable connected to PC is connected to a main part.
(Install a USB-MIDI driver in PC and finish a through setup.)
The unit shall be generated the sound with C4 tone.
19 039 MIC Chk The sign wave of 1 kHz and -43.0 dBm is inputted into a microphone jack.
Set the [MIC VOLUME] at maximum.
