Good Morning, partner!

MC2: A beautiful Wednesday morning, partner! A pleasant morning to our distinguished participants,
classmates, teachers, professors and especially to our respected and honored guest speaker who will be
sharing her knowledge and expertise later.

MC1: You’re right, partner! I can feel that they are all excited to grasp new learnings today.

MC2: Indeed, partner! So, let’s see if they are really with us! Seniors, comment your name in the chat
box with a smiley emoji to show to us that you are happy and energetic today. (Greet some participants
by mentioning their names – at least 6 students) – First 3 for Rose Ann and another 3 for Sheila

MC1: Okay! Maybe that’s all we can mention, but don’t worry, for those who really want to be
mentioned today, we’ll check you later on. But for now, let’s focus our screen to my partner.

MC 2: Thank you partner! Before we formally begin our program, let’s have first the opening prayer,
which will be followed by the Philippine National Anthem, LNU Vision, Mission, Quality Policy, and
LNU Hymn.
MC 1: Let’s all be aware of the presence of God within us, among us, and around us.

MC2: Today, is another door of opportunity that will be opening its way for us to learn new knowledge,
skills, and attitudes that are beneficial to us as social workers in the future.

MC2: Hence, to formally welcome everyone, may we call in our active and well-respected social work
instructor Ms. Sheela Dela Cruz for her opening remarks. Let’s all welcome her with virtual claps.

------Welcome Remarks------

MC1: Thank you, ma’am! That was an inspiring and motivating message for everyone who are here in
this event and will be uncovering another magical surprise in their lives. But before we proceed to the
highlight of this activity, magkakaroon muna tayo ng Icebreaker.
So without further ado, let us call in Mr.
Joshua Castil to facilitate our game.

------Icebreaker------
MC2: Thank you so much for actively participating!
And now let me
present to you the learning outcomes of this session.

------Presentation of Learning Outcomes------

MC1: Thank you, partner! And at this juncture, let us call in our head committee, Ms. Carmela Caminong
to introduce and welcome our resource speaker. The screen is yours Ms. Caminong!

MC2: Thank You very much ma’am! In just 2 hours and 30 minutes, we’ve learned so much from you.
Now, I am certain that we are all filled with helpful information regarding Social Work Profession in
Substance Abuse settings. For those of you who have questions, clarifications, or concerns, you may now
open your mic and address your questions to Ma’am Morales. You may also just ask through the in-call
messages. And just a reminder, we only have 15 minutes for the open forum. So, you may now start.
MC1: While we are preparing our questions, let’s have first 2 minutes’ break to drink, to stretch our
hands, and move our body. Your time start now!
(We will monitor the in-call messages for the questions)
MC1: Okay, as we said earlier we only have 15 minutes to cater all your questions. But if you have other
questions or clarifications about the topic in our session, you can message it to the session’s committees
and we’ll directly forward it to Ma’am Morales.
MC2: Yes! Do not hesitate to message us your questions, dahil basta kayo, lahat ay sigurado.
Kaya naman, the screen is yours again Mr. Castil!
------Icebreaker------

MC2: Thank you everyone for attending this webinar. I hope you’ve learned so much concepts, ideas,
and learnings today. The certificates for today’s event will just be sent through your e-mail accounts. Just
don’t forget to fill-in the evaluation form that we’ll be sending to all the participants later. But before we
formally close this event, let me just read the citations of the certificate for our resource speaker. (Read)
MC1: Once again, thank you so much ma’am.
