Course Code: MATH 126
Course Title: Integral Calculus
Pre-Requisite: Math 117
Credit/Class Schedule : 3 units

Course Description: This course in calculus is intended to develop practical skills in differential and integral
calculus. Method of algebraic integration will be introduced, with both definite and indefinite integrals being
determined for a variety of functions.

Course Goals:

A. Properly carry out integration through the use of the fundamental formulas and/or the various techniques of
integration for both single and multiple integrals;
B. Apply appropriate mathematical concepts, processed, tools, and technologies in the solution to various
conceptual and real-world problems;
C. Correctly apply the concept of integration in solving problems involving evaluation of arc lengths, areas,
volumes, work and force;
D. Illustrate the power of integral calculus as a tool for formulation and measurement of physical quantities such
as liquid pressure, work and centroids.
