1. SATTI (ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR) - Satti is one pf the famous food in
Zamboanga. it is a breakfast dish. Satti shops in Zamboanga opens as early as 4 AM, and by midday, it is rare to find them for being sold anywhere. Satti is like a normal barbecue on a stick, only smaller, with only three small strips of meat on a stick. The satti is like the Malaysian satay with the difference being the size of the serving. It is coupled with sticky rice, served floating on a think, semi- sweet and spicy sauce.
2. SEAFOOD PAELLA (ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY) seafood paella is also the
famous food in Zamboanga Sibugay. The seafood paella is a traditional rice dish cooked in different types of sauces, meat, seafood, and vegetables cooked in a wide, shallow pot known as a paellera. The best seafood paella in Zamboanga. However, it is in one of the restaurants in Zamboanga which is the Pasonanca Park. 3. CURACHA (ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE) is on the top of the list of must-try eats in Zamboanga. The Chavacano name is derived from the phrase “cockroach of the sea”. This crustacean is abundant in the waters of Zamboanga and looks like a hybrid of a crab and a lobster. What makes the curacha different is that its meat can be found in its broad body instead of its claws. The dish is prepared with a special sauce made from coconut milk and a few secret spices.
