Notes - Each item in the Preliminaries shall be priced individually and the Contractor shall not enter any lump sum covering more than one item or group of items. It is mandatory that all items of Bill no. 1 to be priced.
Contract Administration A Allow for all costs related to superintendence, administration, coordination, attaining all required permits and RO's, building permits, etc..., all costs involved in the preparation and submission of all procedures, method statements, reports, documentation by fixed photos and video through the construction period...etc., required for the implementation of the works. All in accordance with Specifications. IM B Site Mobilization Allow for all costs involved in the mobilization of all labor, supervision personnel, construction materials, equipments & plants, transport, consumables etc. which are required to set up all project sites including the cleaning of the site, the removal of the dirt and debris to approved dump sites, etc. and necessary fire and safety equipments all in accordance with Specifications. A Storage of Materials & Facilities for Contractor
Allow for Providing, erecting adequate temporary sheds for the storage of materials, tools, and equipments and temporary Contractor Office, Sanitary facilities for the use of all persons employed on the Sites. Those used for the storage of cement and other perishable materials and the like are to be weatherproofed at all times.

Allow for providing and erecting of Signboards in Arabic & English, Trench Notice Boards, Barriers for trenches to the specifications and as directed by the Engineer etc. for the sites. IM

above during the Contract period and afterwards cleaning away to the specifications and as directed and approved by the Engineer. IM

A Project Site Offices
Allow for providing and erecting on site in a location approved by Kahramaa a site office for the exclusive use of Kahramaa Engineers to the specifications and complete with furniture as described in the scope of works, clause 74. IM
B Allow for operating and maintaining of above site
offices for Kahramaa Engineers for the full duration of construction complete as specified. The Contractor shall be expected to take care of all site meetings by providing soft drink (tea, coffee, cold drink) and daily maintain, clean all rooms, furniture, fittings and WC’s, throughout the period of the Contract. C Security of Works and Insurance
Allow for security and insurance for the proposed works for the entire contract period. The Contractor shall be entirely responsible for the security of all the works stores, materials, plant, personnel, etc. both his own and sub- contractors and must provide all necessary watching, lighting and other precaution as necessary to ensure security against theft, loss or damage and the protection of the public. Allow for all costs for demobilization of personnel and removal from site of all constructional plant, site offices, all temporary works and any other kind of works not being part of the permanent works, rubbish, debris and surplus materials, equipment rubbish, unused materials and leave in clean and tidy state to the satisfaction of the Kahramaa Engineer.
