Acts 1:8:

The holy spirit is the person and power of God. It is impossible to serve God
without His Holy Spirit. Today we are going to be engaging 50 prayers for the

prayers, let us get acquainted with some facts about the holy spirit.
Who Is The Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is a Person. He is the third Person of the God head. We have
God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, see 1 John 5:7, Mathew 28:19-20.
The Father is the Almighty God, The Son is our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Holy
Spirit , is the one that Jesus sent to us, Acts 1:8. The Holy Spirit is the carrier of
Gods presence and Power. In Genesis 1:1-2, we see that God began to recreate
the whole world through His Spirit. Jesus could not have fulfilled His ministry on
earth without the Holy spirit, Acts 10:38 tells us that God empowered Him with
the Holy Spirit and Power to do great miracles. The Holy spirit is not the Power
of God, the Holy Spirit carries the Power of God. As a Christian, you cannot
manifest or feel Gods presence without the Holy spirit, it is the Holy Spirit that
separates Christianity from every other religion in the world. Let’s look at some

1. Salvation: The Holy Spirit is the Lord Of The Harvest, Matthew 9:38. It is
the Holy spirit that convicts sinners of there sins, without the holy spirit one
cannot be born again. The Holy spirit is the author of our salvation.
2. Godliness: The Holy spirit enables us to live a holy and righteous life. Just
as He convicts sinners of their sins, He also convicts believers of their
righteousness John 16:8-9. The Holy spirit helps us to serve God in words and
in deeds, you cannot live right before God by your own human strength, the
arm of flesh will always fail you, but you must constantly depend on the Holy
spirit to live a godly life. Remember, its not by power, nor by might, but by my
Spirit says the Lord, Zechariah 4:6.
3. Supernatural: We command the Supernatural through the Holy Spirit inside
us. Through the power of the Holy spirit, we can heal the sick, raise the dead,
cast out devils etc. We can control events from the realms of the spirit through
the power of the Holy Ghost. Mark 16:17-18
4. Answered Prayers: The Holy spirit helps us to pray, Romans 8:26-27. The
holy spirit gives us utterances in our prayers. The Holy spirit in us guarantees
answers to our prayers. He is our advocate before God. Learn to pray in the

5. Direction: It is the voice of the Spirit in us that gives us direction.The holy

spirit is our helper, as a believer, get to know the person of the Holy spirit, He
will guide you and teach you all things you need to know. Jesus said, He will
even bring back to you things you may have forgotten. The Holy spirit is our
teacher, guide and shepherd. He is the Spirit Of Truth, John 14:26. John also

2. Comforter: A comforter is an encourager, a lifter of your head, the holy
spirit, is not a kill joy, he is not a judgmental spirit, he comforts, he encourages,
he loves and lifts. While the devil condemns your conscience, the holy spirits
comforts you always. When you are filled with the holy spirit, you can never
lack comfort.
3. Advocate: An advocate is someone who publicly supports you. The holy
spirit is always on your side, He will never leave you or abandon you. He will
always be there for you. When you do something wrong by omission, run to the
holy spirit, he knows how to defend you and protect you from harm, will
empowering you not make same errors again.
4. Intercessor: The holy spirit is our intercessor, He intercedes for us. An
intercessor is someone who intervenes on behalf of another, especially in
prayer. The holy spirit prays for us according to Romans 8:26. When you are
filled with the Holy Spirit, you will always be in Gods mind because He through
His Spirit will always interceed for you.
5. Counselor: The Holy Spirit is our counselor, he is our chief adviser, he
guides us in the affairs of our lives. Jesus said the Spirit will teach us all things,
John 14:26. The holy spirit teaches and counsels us so that we can fulfill our
purpose in life. The Holy spirit is our life time coach.
6. Strengthener: The Holy Spirit gives us strength. He strengthens us on
every side. When you are filled with the holy spirit, you can ever be weak. You
will always walk in divine strength. Also the holy spirit strengthens us in the
inner man, through the word of God that we listen daily.
7. Standby: The Holy Spirit is our standby, that is he is ever present with us.
The holy spirit will never leave us or forsake us. He will ever be by your side.
The holy spirit does not give up on us, but unfortunately many of us give up on
him. The Holy Print is ever present with us to help us, councounsel us,
strengthen us, intercede for us and much more. Infact the holy spirit is to us a
friend indeed.

Every believer in Christ needs a fresh anointing, the anointing of yesterday is

not sufficient for the task of today. The bible tells us that the mercies of God are
new every morning, Lamentations 3:22-23. In the same way the anointing of
the Holy Spirit in us can be renewed on a regular basis. What is the anointing?
The anointing is the power Of God in us, this power was given to us by the holy
spirit when we gave our hearts to Jesus, that is when we became born again.
This power in us must be stirred continually for maximum effectiveness. For us
to stir up the anointing of God in us, and continually make it fresh, we must be
given to continuous prayers. This is why I have compiled 60 prayer points for
fresh anointing, this prayer points will empower us to increase in the grace of
God upon our lives. The more you pray, the fresher the anointing of God upon
your life and the fresher the anointing, the more powerful you become, and the
more powerful you become, the more dominion you command over sin and the
devil. Remember, this, you can have a working electrical system in your house
and still remain in darkness, until you put on the light switch, you don’t see
power at work in your house. Prayer is putting on the power switch in your spirit
man. As you engage this prayer points for fresh anointing today, I see you
increasing from one level of grace to another level in Jesus name.

for those who desire a personal revival in their spiritual life. Those who want to
always be on fire for God. If you desire that your spirit, soul and body pursue

who need fresh fire to overcome the battles of life. Life is a battle field, and to

The scripture narrated the story of Simon Peter in the book of Luke chapter 5.
Peter was a professional fisherman, when it comes to the art of getting fish
from the deep of the blue, Peter is a qualified man. However, that night, Peter
and his men toiled throughout the night and they caught nothing.
In the morning, Jesus used Peter’s boat as a rostrum where he stood to speak
to the multitude of people after he was done speaking to people. Jesus who
definitely knew the labor of the fishermen told Simon Peter to launch his net
into the sea again. At that time of the day, the knowledge of casting the net
into the deep again defies all understanding of a professional fisherman.
At first, Peter hesitated, but he later decides to let down his net into the sea.
The end of that story is familiar history. Peter was close to breakthrough after
toiling all night without success, at that moment when he was about to hit the
jackpot, the spirit of doubt almost ruined the whole thing. He doubted if this
Man from Galilee really knows what he was talking about when he said he
should let down his net into the sea.
However, Peter decided to give it one more trial then he experienced the
powerful hands of God that shows mercy. Many of us experience this failure at
the junction of success. The enemy which is the devil designed it in such a way
that it will be impossible for a man to make obvious progress because they will
always fail at the edge of breakthroughs. Even if the person will achieve
anything, it will be relatively low and slow compared to the effort and energy
that has been invested in it.
It becomes more frustrating when you discover how close you are to success
when failure came in, you might not even want to try anymore. If you
constantly experience something like this, you will need to embark on a
powerful prayer session to break free from the spirit of failure at the edge of
breakthroughs.

blessing on hold, father let such giant be destroyed in the name of
Jesus.
 Lord God, every stubborn enemy in my life that has refused to release

Come Holy Spirit, and baptize me with the fire of Your Love. I have
surrendered to the best of my ability, and now I want to be filled with Your
Spirit. I need Your power in my life. Please come, and fill me now. Lord, I
believe that when I surrendered to you as Lord, we became one. You are the
vine and I am a branch in the vine. All that you are is within me. My life flows
from You. I believe that as I yield and ask, You will release Your strength,
wisdom, healing, etc. to meet the needs of the hour. I yield now to receive Your
sanctification gifts of Isaiah 11:2; wisdom and understanding, counsel and
might, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues and
interpretation of tongues. I need them to witness to a hurting world. Only in
Your power, guided by Your Spirit, can my life be fruitful. Holy Spirit come.
Holy Spirit come. I want it all, wrapped in the greatest gift of all: Love. “”…the
greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). Melt me, mold me, fill me, use
me. Give me opportunities to use Your gifts to reveal Your love and mercy.
Stretch me, Lord. I will not limit Your gifts to my perceptions of what I can
handle. Holy Spirit, expand my capacity. Work in me in a powerful way. I
want every purpose God has for my life to be fulfilled, and I need you, might
Spirit of God, to bring that purpose to fulfillment. Come Holy Spirit. Come.
As You flow through me to minister to others, I know that You are flowing
within me to heal my life too. Thank You for flooding the deep places of my
life with Your electric love. Thank you for washing and cleansing any wounds
and scars from the past that still have the power to dominate my thoughts and
suppress my physical and emotional freedom. Thank You for bringing light
into the shadows and warmth to any cold, dark rooms in my soul.
Compassionate Holy Spirit, thank You for coming and drawing out the uncried
tears, the unfinished grieving, the pain of loss, the traumas, the fear, the
emotional hurts so painful that they were “buried alive.” Spirit of Wisdom,
thank You for coming into the root cause of any chronic failures. Gentle Holy
Spirit, thank You for walking through my early ears and facing the past with
me. Thank You for reminding me that the Love of Jesus was always there,
filling in the gap between the love I needed and the love I received. (Thank the
Holy Spirit for scanning your life and bringing to mind any hurtful memories
that need to be healed. When they surface, say simply, “Holy Spirit, I surrender
that event to you for your healing. Thank you for bring Your good out of hurt
