    Development Formulation

    Dewy-look Liquid foundation CK0040


    This light, creamy foundation provides natural, dewy-look complexion, thanks to the combination of
    mineral pigments with Optisol™ OTP-1, and carefully-selected emollients and emulsifier system.
    Optisol OTP-1 also provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, while working in sync with
    Crodamol™ IPIS and Crodamol STS, which provide enhanced spreadability on the skin and result in a
    powder-dry feel and a flawless complexion. The combination of Cithrol™ DPHS and Cithrol PG32IS
    creates a powerful emulsion system, which ensures formulation stability over a wide range of
    temperatures, making sure the skin is perfectly protected wherever you go.

    Procedure:
    Mix ingredients of Part A, mix and heat to 65oC until fully dissolved. Premix Part B in the main beaker, homogenize with
    Ultra Turrax at 25,000 rpm. Add Part C, homogenize with Ultra Turrax at 25,000 rpm until homogeneous. Add Cithrol
    DPHS to the batch, heat slowly while mixing until fully melted. Add Optisol OTP-1 to the batch while mixing and heating
    to 65oC. Add Part A to Part BCD with mixing, continue with homogenizing with Silverson at 8,000 rpm for 2 minutes.
    Cool down to room temperature with overhead stirring.

    Appearance: Light brown cream; Viscosity: 8422 cPs ± 10% (Brookfield LVDV-I, spindle 64, 50 rpm at 1 min)
    Stability: 3 months at 45oC, 1 month at 50oC and 5 x 8ºC/45ºC 24 hour freeze-thaw cycle
