 WEEK ONE (10TH JUNE 2020 – 17TH JUNE 2020):

The first day when I joined the NGO through the online mode, a virtual online

email to the organization, and I was appointed as a Law and Legal intern in the group

group to follow up with the work in the NGO.

The second day of the work, the coordinator had instructed me to type a promotional
notice WhatsApp messages for the promotion of the webinar conducted by the legal
team including myself on the webinar hosting panel and the webinar was on the theme
of Child welfare laws, and the mode work allotted to the team was to conduct one
webinar for one week (on every Saturday of every week). And each webinar will of
time limit of one hour and the attendees were other members of the organisation and
few school students by the guidance of the NGO.

The third day was the day to organize the webinar on the topic on child welfare laws
And the webinar was presented by a group of fellow interns from our university and
as a team we represented the topic and I personally hosted the webinar and did my
presentation of introducing the topic and with the various subtopics was discussed by
the fellow teammates with a detailed manner in explaining the laws provided for
children and its legislative provisions and legal aspects of it creating a legal awareness
to understand the laws and its implementations . The NGO was completely stratified
with the performance of the webinar by our university and really appreciated the team
and there a tremendous positive response in our first step of work. The mode of
webinar was on google meets as the online platform to access the meet.

On the same day the coordinator contacted me to give my legal opinion towards the
issue of sexual harassment ,and the solution to stop the harassment by providing the
legal provisions by the laws against harassment against women and the help was
provide to the fellow other interns in the NGO facing the harassment issue and they
were pleased with my opinion as a solution to their problem

On the same week other petty works were one like typing the data entry in the excel
sheets for the organisation with that that week’s works was winded up.

 WEEK TWO (18TH JUNE 2020 – 24TH JUNE 2020):

And another fellow intern hosted the webinar on google meet as a platform and the

act,2005 relating to the cyber laws provisions, and that webinar was an awareness
program and received positive reviews with great feedback from the organisation and
certain issues regarding the ambiguity towards the topic was sorted by the webinar
and the second webinar had better improvement compared to the first webinar. The
rest of the days was followed with the promotional works regarding the works of the
NGO on the social media platform by sharing the profile on the social media

 WEEK THREE (25TH JUNE 2020 – 1ST JULY 2020):

On the third there was no webinar that was scheduled to take place due to the sudden

the no work schedule that week and only WhatsApp message forwarding was the only

internship.

 WEEK FOUR (3rd JULY 2020 TO 10TH JULY 2020):

The final week of my intern period came and on the fourth week of the eve of

As completing the last and final work of the NGO, the organisation asked for an
intern report done by myself as to conclusive part to obtain the internship certificate
for the intern work done. The intern report made by me and on the submission of the
report the internship certificate was provided and the end of the great intern work in
the organisation came to a good end at last.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE:

I consider this internship opportunity as an approach to step in organised learning gaining

experience in the online platform, and working with NGO made me understand that how
there are a lot of people who are unaware of the existence of laws and its importance. The
basic motto of the NGO was to learn and share knowledge and I did my best work in
providing and sharing my learnings and understanding of law and sharing my knowledge
experience in the legal knowledge to enlighten and create awareness in understanding the
laws to the fellow members of the organisation and other students present in the webinar and
the intern work was great gesture for me by boosting my self confidence and creating a new
platform for me to learn and share my knowledge gained. The work atmosphere was
completely different as it was subjected to work from home concept and it had its own
advantages and disadvantages in the working time but this internship done was great thing in
the tough times of pandemic was something unusual but the learning process was fruitful
experience in the area of work.

CONCLUSION:

It’s been a remarkable time in working as an intern in YEF and this internship period of one-
month helped me learn a lot specially to express my thoughts on the given topics. As a law
student, the basic skill needed is addressing people which I have developed from here. I am
glad that I got a platform to share my ideas and opinions on the topics in a recognised
organisation like YEF. The team work and the assists among the learned outcomes as mass
retrospective communication of the topic and how is to create awareness for a good cause in
good conscience. The mandatory internship for the 1 st year of study in the university was
completed in the mode of online platform and this was a challenging internship because of
the covid-19 lockdown and the primary fieldwork was a major missing in the internship but
the online mode of internship has new way of digital work mode and learning experience was
exciting
