1 General
This document contains significant information on the commissioning of the control
unit. The detailled product documentation is contained in the following manuals:

Read the ‘Safety Instructions’ first before starting to work with the control
Warning
panel.
This manual describes the functions corresponding to a general programmed setting of the control
panel. Nevertheless, the functions could be configured by the installer in a different way and there-
fore not be available.

To access the CLIENT mode, it is a prerequisite that the system is NOT armed

If there is a single long beep at this point and the program LED does not turn on, this means that
you can not access the PROGRAM MODE with your code.

To access the INSTALLER mode, it is a prerequisite that the system is NOT armed
1. Press <PROG>
2. ENTER: Master/ Installer pin code (default: 258369)
3. <ENTER>

If there is a single long beep at this point and the program LED does not turn on, this means that
you can not access the PROGRAM MODE with your code.
Close open zones or bypass them. Bypass any zone you cannot close. The <BYPASS> indicator
flashes indicating bypassed zone(s).

There is an exit delay prior to the system being armed. During this delay time, a slow beep sounds
to indicate that the system is not armed yet and to remind you to vacate the protected area.
The indicators may go out few seconds after exit delay times out, depending on the
installation setting.
To immediately ARM the system, press <ARM>.

The protected area can be grouped into two separate partitions (A or B). The sys-
tem can be grouped for the user‘s convenience to separate e.g. the offices from
the warehouse area in a business environment, or the different rooms of a private
residence, e.g. living room, bedroom, etc.
Arm Partition A or B
1. Press and hold <A> or <B> during two seconds to ARM the desired partition.
During the exit delay you can leave the premises. If you wish to stay or if you do not want anybody
to enter the protected premises, you may cancel the Entry/Exit delay by pressing the <ENTER>
key.
The indicators may go out after a few seconds, depending on the installer's setting

To disable the bypassing of zones, press <BYPASS>, enter the zone number (e.g. 07, 13), then
press <ENTER>
Note: Disarming means that the bypassing of all zones is automatically disabled.

Any system failure that may occur is indicated by system messages. System mes-
sages are automatically displayed and are listed in the tables below. Read the
messages and call for service if necessary.
Any failure or abnormal event that may occur is indicated by a trouble message
and the trouble indicator lights up.

1. Press the < UP>-Arrow (MEM) to read out messages and other events stored in
memory.

1. Press the < UP> arrow (MEM) to display a list of events.
Î The system will display the latest event and automatically scroll to the next
one every 2.5 seconds; a beep is emitted.
2. Use the arrow keys to scroll manually.
Î Each entry shows the type of event, date and time.
3. Press <ENTER> to cancel the memory readout.

4 Remote control
4.1 Using the remote control
To use the system in a very easy way, you can operate all main functions from the
remote control. The remote control is a radio device. The system can manage up
to 16 remote controls, if all the 5 channels of each remote control are programmed.
The working distance between a remote control and a control unit may vary be-
tween 20-200m, depending on the environment.
The remote control IRC60 is waterproof and can also be used in bathrooms.
With each use (transmission) a control signal is sent regarding the remaining bat-
tery power. When the battery is too low this will be indicated on the control unit dis-
play.
Losing a remote control:
If you loose a remote control or when it is stolen, the respective user must

immediately be removed from the system.
Ask the installer for assistance.

When an operation has started incorrectly, press <ENTER> ◄┘ to exit and return to the previous
mode.
Pressing the <PROG> key for 2 sec returns back to the basic position.
