2. General Characteristics
Compressor station shall be controlled by station control system, having three modes of control:
Local Manual Operation
Local Automatic Operation
Remote Automatic Operation
The supplier shall design the Facilities and shall ascribe noise limits to each piece of equipment in
continuous service in order to keep in the following maximum sound pressure levels:
Within the compressor station area ISO NR 80
Within the compressor station fence ISO NR 55.
Furthermore any discontinuous noise emission shall be within limits indicated in the following table:

4. Operating Data
Erzincan Compressor Station shall be designed in such a way that the maximum efficiency is achieved (with
three units to be in operation) at the following operating point. The inlet-outlet (suction-discharge) pressure
values are the ones to be provided at the station inlet-outlet valves:
Moreover, in spite of taking the suction gas temperature as 7.7 °C at the design points, this parameter
changes between 6°C and 10 °C in application.
The station shall also cover the following operating conditions, at which the station is also expected to be
operated (with three units to be in operation).

(Summer):
1) The station gas compressors will have a capacity of working at all operating conditions so that the
pressure conditions can be minimum 40 barg at the inlet flange and maximum 75 barg at the outlet flange of
the station.
2) To satisfy above mentioned flow rate (2.040.0000 Sm 3 / hour) four compressor units at 3+1 configuration
shall be installed and one of them shall be used as standby under all working conditions. However, in case
of high head or high flow requirement, 4 units shall be used together. Therefore, Station Control System
shall be designed so that all units can run at the same time if necessary.
