A SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN Food and Beverage Services – 8

Date: September 18, 2018

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

1. Define Table Appointment


2. Identify the types and uses of Table Appointments in table setting
3. Enumerate the types of Table Appointments in table setting

c. Reference: DEPED Learners Module in FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES

III. Procedures

A. Preparation
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Classroom management
 Checking of attendance

B. Review

Ask the students Taking of orders.

C. Motivation

Show a picture of spoons, forks, glass, table napkin, centerpiece and linens.

D. Presentation

(Present lesson for the day)

The teachers present the topic for the day and post the days objectives that are going to be
attained.

Let the students know what is Table Appointment?

b. Analysis
1. Why do we need to study the different types of table appointments?
2. How can we apply our learnings about table appointments?

c. Abstraction
1. The teacher explains what is Table Appointment.
2. The teacher will let the students analyze the importance knowing the
different types and uses of table appointments.

d. Application

The students will be group into four and let them do the activity.
The teacher will give instruction.

Instruction: The teacher will show the picture to the class and the students will
write their answer on the response card within 5 seconds.

Write your answer in your response card using your white board marker.
