ABSTRACT
Volume calculation is an important part of warehouse space
optimization for pharmaceutical products. Warehouse basically a cost
centre and for each and every space it has some value. So in order to
calculate how much space particular reagents will take, volume
calculation is done. Various people are often responsible for the handling
and storage of such products.
This project focuses on the “COLD CHAIN & INSTRUMENT WISE VOLUME
AND CONSUMPTION ANALYSIS OF ROCHE DIAGONISTICS INDIA (RDI)
AT PAREKH INTEGRATED SERVICES PVT. LTD” There is some instruments
which are stored here and some sort of particular reagents are used for
specific instruments. So each instruments and reagents occupies some
spaces, so this projects talk about how much space will be required and
how much sales likely happen in the next few months.
In order to calculate space secondary data of sales and physical
dimension have been collected from PISPL, also by using 2 months
moving average method forecast of sales for next a few months have
been shown.
In the end some recommendations have been provided which if
organization follows then it will be easier for them to calculate space
required for reagents.
