Manager and White Hart Manager for: The effective and efficient management and delivery of all Food and Beverage operations provided by DACS, with the aim that they provide the highest level of customer service, are cost effective, meet budgeted targets and achieve a regional and national service profile. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 To assist in the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Bar, Restaurant and Conference Food and Beverage activities within the DACS operation. To act as team leader within the Food and Beverage operation. To act as Duty Manager as required. To promote a customer focused culture within DACS by example and by encouraging in house training of all team members through an agreed training plan. To assist in the management of the outcomes of monthly Customer Reviews, linking these to changes in procedure and team training. To ensure the use of current Standard Operation Procedures by all team members within the department. To be able to work within any section within the Food and Beverage department. To be responsible for managing the time keeping records for all team members on your shift. To ensure the effective management, motivation, training and development of all team members employed in the bars and restaurants. To ensure DACS facilities comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene regulations and licensing legislation To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment. To ensure the ongoing compliance with statutory requirements relating to the work of the Department Food and Beverage Supervisor Dartington Hall DACS Food and Beverage Manager and White Hart Manager All Bar and Restaurant team members

All Supervisors and Team Leaders employed by DACS Ltd will be required to meet the following standards where applicable:

To be responsible to the Head of Department for managing your shift. To be fully aware, and ensure your teams awareness of : Licensing regulations and laws. Employers Fire Safety regulations. Health and Safety regulations. Food Safety regulations. HACCP regulations. To act as duty manager if required. To be aware of your department's Standards of Procedure and ensure that your team have full knowledge of the same and to provide training if and when necessary to your team to fill any skill gaps. To ensure the punctuality and time keeping of your team to meet rota requirements. To motivate team in achieving incentive targets through product knowledge training and on the job training. To undertake any other reasonable tasks set by your Head of Department.

KNOWLEDGE

Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards Awareness of statutory requirements applicable to food and drink service

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in established bar, restaurant, conference or banqueting business People management/team leader experience with the ability to motivate and inspire performance

Experience of being both a team leader and team member with proven people skills

QUALIFICATIONS Good general level of education Basic Food Hygiene

Appointed Persons First Aid NVQ III or equivalent Health & Safety Supervisory Training Customer Care

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Flexible towards hours of work
