COMPUTERIZED HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ABSTRACT

Members: Jonelle Edward Liban Jasmine Joy Balaba Gian Coleto Michael Herbert Liao

The present day modern concept of the hotel is not just a place to provide `accommodation, food and beverage, but like city within a city and offering the every possible facilities, accommodation, service and convenience, not such as rooms. Hotel management is one area of activity that can benefit directly from the automation of: reservations, checking in and out procedures, reports production. The article discusses the development of automated hotel systems and likely future enhancements. Visualize it being use in a newly established hotel it will give both the management and its guest comfort than using manual procedure which takes a lot of time. Just like in Spring Hotel, they are having difficulty dealing in organizing files including room availability, check-in and check-out details of their guest. We have administer a survey on how the manual procedures work, despite the fact that they already have a computer but only using it for recording of sales, creating a computerized or automated system that can monitor room availability, check-in and check-out details and can rid of conventional way that consumes excessive amount of time. The motive of our project is to control various activities performed. In the Hotel using the computer with the work of Hotel management system. From the beginning, the important thing in our mind is that we should concentrate our project work on a subject that is easy to understand and is according to our daily requirement. By keeping this in mind, the subject chosen by us is hotel management.
