Ernest Serrano's "Grim Weaver" will be featured at the historic NOHO7 Laemmle Theater in North Hollywood from October 28 through October 31, 2016. Dawna Lee Heising interviews director Michael S. Rodriguez and executive producer Tino Zamora of Lake of Shadows: The Legend of Avocado Lake for More Horror in Hollywood. The film follows a group of young aspiring film makers as they set out to uncover the truth about a local urban legend at a mysterious lake resort. Lake of Shadows will combine the sub genre of found footage and traditional horror as the team seeks out a legend of a large man eating fish that lives in the lake. This documentary horror film combines urban legend with fact and incorporates the sub genre of found footage.

Delirium, the production company whose maiden outing was the 2016 Bill Oberst Jr.-Armand Assante hit thriller STRESSED TO KILL, has just announced it will go into production on PURGATORY ROAD in November 2016 for delivery mid-2017. Directed by Mark Savage, scripted by Savage and Tom Parnell, and produced by Chris Smernes, the team behind STRESSED TO KILL, the film has been described as hardcore horror with a bloody helping of twisted "faith".
