Magic Bus

This is the Case of the Purloined Winnebago. The Defense Department has developed a mobile Command and Control and Weapons System in a recreational vehicle, and they want Lee to drive it from the Washington DC area to Arizona, while a fake unit is shipped by air. This is the dodge to make sure anyone wanting to steal or sabotage the unit chases after the fake.

Does this make any sense? No ... but ... TV writers. That's all you can say.

Unfortunately, there is a leak in the process, of course, and a militia group steals the RV right off of Mrs. King's driveway. Why was it parked there? TV writers. Lee and Mrs. King go undercover with the militia group, but not really since the mole tells them who the agents are immediately, and they are held hostage, along with the threat of destroying a dam, against the release of two members of the group held in custody.

As long as you don't think very hard, the episode is an enjoyable piece of fluff, which describes most Scarecrow and Mrs. King episodes.
