Armstrong’s name was taken from the ballot, Razzies creator John Wilson said in a statement, and he apologized. Under-18s will no longer be permitted to submit nominations for the awards, he added.

“We have never intended to bury anyone’s career. It is why our Redeemer Award was created. We all make mistakes, very much us included,” Wilson said.

That was – shocker! – the case again this year, when the group nominated 12-year-old actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong, who starred in last year’s “Firestarter” remake, as Worst Actress. The outrage was, as you can imagine, swift. And on Wednesday, the Razzies issued a predictably weak-tea response apologizing. How noble!

The original film in question is the one that lends its delightful photo of Pierce Brosnan delivering a baby to this post. False Positive stars and was written by Ilana Glazer (Broad City). It sounds like a really fun, creepy time with a synopsis that reads: “After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). Confusing stuff, we know, but rest assured that if you have HBO Max you’ll get these shows…and if you only have HBO, you can go ahead and just get HBO Max for the same price anyway.

HBO Max launches May 27 with a whole lot of content ready to stream immediately. But throughout the nascent streamer’s first month, even more titles will be added, from HBO Max originals like “Adventure Time: Distant Lands Bmo,” to old favorites like “Amelie,” “Black Beauty” and “The Bucket List.”

Perhaps the saddest loss subscribers will suffer in June is that of Bob Ross’ Beauty is Everywhere. Why exactly the streamer thought it would be a good idea to get rid of the painter’s therapeutically soothing voice and encouraging words in the midst of a nerve-wrecking crisis is a mystery. Murphy, in what has become a tradition, personally unveiled the ensemble lineup for American Horror Story Season 10 on his Instagram with a teaser video for the untitled anthology iteration. Set to the soundtrack of masked cowboy singer Orville Peck’s wistfully dreamy “Dead of Night,” the clip showcases the gloomy scenery of a beach, over which the revelatory cast credits roll.

"Little Italy is not big enough for me and you!" Lionsgate has debuted the first official trailer for a cheesy romantic comedy titled Little Italy, the latest from veteran filmmaker Donald Petrie. This film has such a cheesy concept, the kind that makes you roll your eyes it's just so awful. Here's what Little Italy is about: a young couple must navigate a blossoming romance, amidst a war between their families' competing pizza restaurants. Emma Roberts and Hayden Christensen star, along with Alyssa Milano, Danny Aiello, and Andrea Martin. This definitely looks as terrible as it sounds, complete with cliche rain scenes, a cook off (of course), scooter riding, and more ridiculousness. Avoid this film at all costs. Actor Edward Herrmann, famous for his role as Richard Gilmore on Gilmore Girls, has died at the age of 71, his rep confirms to Et.

"Edward Herrmann, besides being an accomplished actor, was also a true gentleman and a scholar, as well as being an incredibly kind and decent man," the actor's rep told Et. "He will be sorely missed."

According to TMZ, Herrmann had reportedly been battling brain cancer. His family made the difficult decision to take him off the respirator after he had been in ICU for more than three weeks without improvement.

The 1994 film Richie Richie is a live-action film adaptation of the Harvey Comics' comic book character of the same name. Ha, I bet some of you didn't know that. The film starred Macaulay Culkin ("Uncle Buck") as Richard Rich, Jr., aka Richie Rich. Wait, if his first name is Richard that means he could use the short name Dick. Then he would be known as Dick Rich. Nice! Netflix has picked up 21 episodes of a live-action Richie Rich series remake from DreamWorks Animation's AwesomenessTV. The series is obviously going to be geared toward kids, and it's based on the the classic comic strip and the 1980s animated series. The half-hour comedy stars Jake Brennan (Dark Skies) in thelead role, as well as Joshua Carlon, Jenna Ortega, Lauren Taylor, Kiff VandenHeuvel and Brooke Wexler.

Richie Rich features an updated take on the one percenter spoiled brat character. According to THR, it will follow the characters adventures as he is making a movie, and will travel the world including Antarctica, while meeting celebrities along the way. It seems like the majority of kids shows that my kids watch on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon these days revolves around wealthy rich and famous kids.

Netflix has ordered a live-action adaptation of Richie Rich.

The new show is a reboot of the classic comic book series dating back to 1953, which also inspired a 1994 movie starring Macaulay Culkin.

The title character is traditionally the son of a wealthy industrialist, but in the streaming service's updated version he is responsible for his own wealth after inventing a "cool new green technology".

According to reports, Netflix has ordered 21 episodes of the half-hour comedy.

Jake Brennan, Joshua Carlon, Jenna Ortega, Lauren Taylor, Kiff VandenHeuvel and Brooke Wexler are set to star.

Brian Robbins (Awesomeness TV), Tim Pollock and Jeff Hodsden (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody) will act as executive producers.

Richie Rich also previously inspired two animated series.
