Gives the impression that it was producers by people who were mandated to make a LSH movie, written by people who don't like the LSH, directed by people who don't understand the LSH, for people who only watched because Supergirl was in the title.
This has to be based on the Bendis era.
A character that has been a hero for decades is turned into a villain. 75% of the Legionnaires are pushed aside for second tier heroes for what had better be saving on animation. The "who's a traitor" has its place in the LSH canon, but doesn't work when you're introducing a new and complicated team.
One thing it did get right is that the relationship between Supergirl and Brianiac 5 is pretty spot on.
The Legion of Super-heroes is a complicated and extensive part of comics and I do appreciate that it can be difficult to adapt. I just wish they had goen with an established LSH storyline and not a generic plot.
