Having been a drum corps aficionado for many years, and having marched myself (evidence of a misspent youth, I assure you), I've got to say that this is by far the best show I've seen. It takes the elements of drum corps (that's usually done on a football field) and expands it into a wonderful showcase for a wide variety of talent. They took each subsection of the corps and highlighted them wonderfully, allowing each section to demonstrate their strengths, while others acted in a supporting role. While there were soloists, there were no prima donnas.
And that middle horn section (Mellophones, Flugel Horns, French Horns, Alto horns and sometimes baritone horns) has got to be the best ever assembled. I'd give it three thumbs up if I had three thumbs.
