3/10
Wasted potential
2 December 2024
Honestly, it left me feeling really disappointed. The premise had so much potential-blending true crime with a chilling story about a serial killer-but the execution was just a mess. The storytelling was so disjointed that it felt like I was watching a series of disconnected scenes rather than a cohesive narrative. It was incredibly hard to stay engaged because the pacing was all over the place, and the tension that should've been gripping just wasn't there.

The acting, however, was fantastic. The performances from the cast were strong, especially considering how weak the script was. You could tell the actors were giving it their all, but it wasn't enough to save the movie from its poor direction and lack of focus.

It's such a shame because the concept was intriguing, and this could've been a truly compelling film. Instead, it ended up feeling like a wasted opportunity. I'd give it a 3/10 for the acting and potential, but beyond that, it just didn't deliver on what it promised. It's a tough one to recommend unless you're really curious about the story.
