If I think back to when I was in middle school and how we acted and how dramatic things seemed, this show is accurate in how middle schoolers are. I think the show is cute. When I see people rate this low just based on the fact that the "inappropriate" part of this show is the fact that girls the age where they normally get their period, mention and talk about their period (because believe me, when I was in middle school, that was actually a thing), it makes no sense. If you think about the demographic for the viewers of this show, which I would say probably includes girls who get what they are depicting in the show, it makes sense that they'd mention that. There's no reason to hide something that all girls go through and can actually have something in common with characters in the show. They're depicting what it's like to be a teen girl and just because it's a Disney show, doesn't mean it should be all rainbows and flowers and be ignorant and tells girls that it's still something to be ashamed of and having a period is "inappropriate", when it's just life.
