Appear in an action film (as the star or the villain) 4. Win a Golden Rasperry Award for worst actor 5. Win an academy award for best screenplay 6. Have children 7. Become involved in Video Game acting (Live-Action FMV, Voice and Motion Capture).
- Favorite video games include: Star Fox Adventures (2002), Life Is Strange: Before the Storm (2017), Spec Ops: The Line (2012), Resident Evil 6 (2012), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2008), Devil May Cry 4 (2008), Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (2005), Halo 2 (2004), and Turok: Evolution (2002).
In fact, Star Fox Adventures is the video game he most often cites as his inspiration to become an actor, as this game featured heavy story-driven elements and was portrayed as heavily cinematic all while put in a video game which combined his love for dinosaurs and the paranormal while allowing him to be able to play as non-human characters. Most frequently, he says it is "the game that made (him) a gamer", He also considers Resident Evil 5 (2009) and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (2004) as heavy inspirations for him in wanting to pursue a career in voice-over, specifically to become a voice actor for video games. - Dream roles include playing Fox McCloud in a film adaptation of the Star Fox video games, Snake from the Metal Gear franchise, Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Martin Walker from Spec Ops: The Line, a James Bond villain, and James Bond himself (despite being an American rather than a British actor).
He has also said if he could play female roles, he would want to play: Velma Kelly from Chicago, Carlotta from The Phantom of the Opera, Sharpay Evans from High School Musical and Chloe Elizabeth Price from Life is Strange. - Turned down appearing in Sun Records (2017) because it would require him cutting his hair for what might only be a single day of work and could have been two months of work at most. The reason is that he believes longer hair is easier to alter to look different than short hair, and it took him a year to grow his hair as long as he had it and wouldn't give up that commitment for anything less than a leading role in a television series. He often slicks back his hair to make it appear shorter when needed, and went to the casting call office with his hair like this to see if the production would have accepted it... They didn't.
- Plans to make fan films based on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015), Life Is Strange (2015), Spec Ops: The Line (2012), the original versions of Resident Evil 4 (2005), and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017). As an actor he would be playing Venom Snake & Skull Face, Chloe Price, Captain Martin Walker, Leon S. Kennedy and Clancy Javis respectively. He would also serve as director for most of these projects.
- Openly admits that the 2015-released video games Life Is Strange (2015) and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015) are responsible for two major emotional purges to which he refers to as "Catharsis". He is referring to the definition Aristotle used in his publication "The Poetics", "the purification and purgation of emotions-especially pity and fear-through art or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration." The experience with Metal Gear Solid occurred September 18th of 2015, while the Life is Strange 'catharsis' happened April 9th of 2017 just before midnight.
Both of these events relate to the sacrificial departing of the best friend and/or love interest of each game's respective protagonists. Quiet leaves Snake in Metal Gear Solid V to spare him from dying and watching her die, while Chloe Price's death is meant to be despite Maxine Caulfield intervening at the start of the game. He believes that his emotional response to these games reveal to himself his capacity to care about people in real life. This is the kind of reason why he loves movies and television, as well. Because he believes being so invested in fictional stories can also reveal one's own capacity to care about other people in real life.
He would later have a third one with Spec Ops: The Line (2012) on January 27th, 2019. He played this game not long after going through an emotional scarring from a relationship, and felt major depression. Playing this game reminded him that things could be even worse than what he was going through at that time in his life. - Favorite Television shows include Reacher (2022), Monsters We Met (2003), The L Word (2004), Legacies (2018), Supernatural (2005), Burn Notice (2007), Prison Break (2005), and Drake & Josh (2004).
