Brian Tetsuro Ivie is a Japanese-American filmmaker, film producer, and humanist documentarian. While still a film student, Brian made his documentary debut with the Korean-language feature, "The Drop Box," the story of a Korean man who rescues abandoned children. His follow-up was the critically acclaimed, "Emanuel," which premiered on Starz, with NBA Superstar Stephen Curry and Oscar Winner Viola Davis serving as the film's executive producers. A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Brian has produced numerous independent short films and features alongside his directing work, most recently, "Wildcat," starring Maya Hawke and Laura Linney, "Even In The Wind," starring Sonoya Mizuno, "Isle Child," starring Ethan Hwang and Ben Wang, "Concessions," starring Michael Madsen and Steven Ogg, and "The Queen of Basketball," winner of the 2022 Academy Award. Since 2021, Brian has also been an executive producer and advisor for Stephen Curry and his Unanimous Media.
