His feature-length screenplay "American Backwoods: Verhaunt" won several awards, including Grand Prize and Best Action in the 2018 Low Light Pictures International Screenplay Competition, Best Horror Comedy at the 2018 Boobs & Blood International Film Festival, and 2nd Prize in the Action/Adventure category in the 2018 Page Turner Screenplays Genre Competition.
