Not just the official announcements but even the speculations of several big films have stormed the internet, and the biggest of all has been the arrival date of Pushpa 2. The much-awaited Sarfira trailer is now out. Written and directed by Sudha Kongara, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Radhikka Madan, Seema Biswas, R Sarath Kumar, Saurabh Goyal, Krishnakumar Balasubramanian and others. The story is inspired by Captain Gr Gopinath’s book ‘Simply Fly – A Deccan Odyssey’.

As seen in the trailer, Akshay Kumar plays Vir Mhatre, a man who is drowning in debt but dreams of flying high in the sky. The meaning of Sarfira is someone who’s mad or crazy, and that’s seen in Akshay’s portrayal of Vir. He wants to start a low-cost airline which will make the flying experience accessible and easy for the common people. However, it’s known that if anyone dares to dream out of the box, there will be people who will raise questions.

Hardy tags in Ryan Nemeth, who holds Edwards’ arm in place for Hardy to drop an Axe Handle and Nemeth to deliver a Headbutt. Edwards shoves Nemeth to the corner and tags in Myers. Directed by Scream's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Abigail revolves around a group of would-be-criminals who kidnap a 12-year-old ballerina in the hope of collecting a $50 million ransom from her underworld father.

However, they soon realise that she's no normal child and is, in fact, a bloodthirsty vampire. What follows is a darkly funny, blood-soaked tale which sees Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir, and Dan Stevens all deliver scene-stealing performances. 

In the closing moments of Abigail, Barrera's character, Joey, escapes near-certain death after the title vampire's father (played by Watchmen star Matthew Goode) allows her to go free. She then receives a voicemail from her estranged son after reaching out to him earlier in the movie, suggesting Joey will ultimately repair their relationship upon finding a new lease on life.

Now, Barrera has revealed a slightly different ending for the movie, explaining why it was left on the cutting room floor.

Universal has a long history with vampire films, going back to the 1930s. Their latest, Abigail, offers a reboot of 1936’s Dracula’s Daughter, a hypnotizing work that still stands as one of the best follow-ups to 1931’s Dracula. Now, fresh from its premiere at the Overlook Film Festival, it looks like Universal has marked a successful return to their vampire lineup.

Many reactions from Abigail’s premiere praise the movie for being nearly endlessly entertaining, bringing something fresh to the genre while also giving off the vibe of some of our favorite vampire flicks from decades past:

Just as the day was ending on day two, we returned to the Glenmaroon House, the massively beautiful set for the vampire film. Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, and Melissa Barrera welcomed us in as they were getting ready to film their big introduction to the crew, as seen in the brand new trailer. In this scene, Lambert (played by Giancarlo Esposito) tells a group of the heist the girl they kidnapped is the daughter of a “very wealthy man who is about to be 50 million dollars poorer.”

"Abigail" star Alisha Weir was keen to perform as many of her own stunts as possible for the movie, in which she plays the titular ballerina vampire who is kidnapped by an ill-fated crew of criminals. Though stunt double Rachelle Beinart took over for the most dangerous and complex sequences, Weir's dance training made her a natural fit for learning combat choreography and flying through the air on wires. But one type of dance that she hadn't specifically trained in before was ballet -- which created a challenge, since "ballerina vampire" is the movie's hook, and the script opens with Abigail dancing to "Swan Lake."
