Plot
Seven college students are forced to compete in children's games for survival. With their futures unclear, the secrets of their pasts are revealed.
Cast
This is the directorial debut and writing debut of the chap. Cast? Rachel Oremland was the only competent one among them, truly awful.
Verdict
I expected this to be an ITN film, shockingly it's not.
Now when going into a movie that is so blatantly ripping off something else to the point even the title is one letter off you have to assume the absolute worst and I did and was right to do so.
You see it tells the story of the oldest high schoolers in the history of movies, and that's really saying something. Playing Squid Game is the game masters had a budget comparable with the cost of a Big Mac. No seriously, the games are hilariously awful and fittingly ugly.
To make matters worse they intentionally make almost every character intolerable and deserving of punishment, the trouble is you can't even cheer for their demise because the journey itself is so imeasurably dull and in places cringe inducing.
If you're expecting a low budget Squid Game, this is not that. If you're expecting a watchable film, it's not that either.
Rants
Have you seen the 10/10 reviews? They're hilarious, when you praise a movie to that extent you simply cannot be taken seriously especially when it's a movie of this caliber. There isn't anything good to say, so when you come out claiming it's the literal greatest movie ever made you're embarrassing yourself and should re-evaluate how you spend your time.
