- TriviaThe Notre Dame was modeled on a 1:1 scale. It was created by one employee and took them over 8 months to create. The model was so accurate that Ubisoft turned its data over to France to help repair the real Notre Dame after a devastating fire in 2019.
- ErroresDuring an early part of the game, Arno visits the Sainte-Chapelle cathedral just North of Notre Dame. While the inside of this cathedral is visually stunning and very close to actual depiction, the story shows Arno jumping through a hole in the floor, to enter the assassin's guild HQ. In actuality, the church area shown is on the second floor with another room underneath. He would have jumped through the second story floor, to the first floor level (inaccessible in the game), not an underground area.

Arno Victor Dorian: The Creed of the Assassin Brotherhood teaches us that nothing is forbidden to us. Once, I thought that meant we were free to do as we would. To pursue our ideals, no matter the cost. I understand now. Not a grant of permission. The Creed is a warning. Ideals too easily give way to dogma. Dogma becomes fanaticism. No higher power sits in judgement of us. No supreme being watches to punish us for our sins. In the end, only we ourselves can guard against our obsessions. Only we can decide whether the road we walk carries too high a toll. We believe ourselves redeemers, avengers, saviours. We make war on those who oppose us, and they in turn make war on us. We dream of leaving our stamp upon the world... even as we give our lives in a conflict that will be recorded in no history book. All that we do, all that we are, begins and ends with ourselves.
