Rupan sansei: Dead or Alive

This film was directed by "Lupin III" creator Monkey Punch. However, in interviews he explained he only took the job due to the production having a deadline of five months and there being no director available to handle the job. According to Punch, all he actively directed was the opening and closing scenes of the OAV; he left the rest of the film in the hands of assistant director Hiroyuki Yano. He said the experience was too demanding (in his own words "it took more than a thousand times the energy of drawing a manga to produce and direct this movie"), and that he never wants to direct a feature again.

After Jigen observes Ole's pendant, his beard and his hair turn white. In the next shot, they were reverted back to black.
