V-Day Humor (No Spoilers)

The movie is funny, especially if you're single and struggle regularly with the strange holiday dating fever that starts around Halloween and ends just around Valentine's Day. "I Hate Valentine's Day" is all about mixed signals and how we spoil things by trying too hard -- or trying NOT to try to hard. There's a fine balance between right and wrong (or what works and what doesn't) in the dating world and Nia Vardalos nails it in this movie. Basically, watching the various couples "find" each other the viewer comes to the realization that we're ALL crazy and just need to find someone who's level of crazy is a good fit with our own.

I wasn't a fan of Corbett's BFF in this movie. Too MCP, over the top, and didn't add anything to the film by being in it. Otherwise a great movie.
