Becky Pokora

Becky Pokora is an adventurer at heart who learned the power of travel rewards early on as a way to help fund travel. Now, she shares this knowledge with others as a Forbes Advisor staff writer covering credit cards and travel rewards.

Becky has also written for other major websites including BoardingArea and The Points Guy and has spoken at multiple Frequent Traveler University events. Prior to writing, she worked as managing director of Book Your Award and advised hundreds of clients on the best ways to redeem their miles to travel all over the world. Collectively, she’s redeemed more than 50 million miles on their behalf and has used her own miles and credit card strategies to visit all seven continents.

Though her favorite trips typically take her hiking in the mountains, you’ll also find Becky at home cooking, practicing yoga and spoiling her dog.
