Wisła Kraków Adds Superbet as Sponsor

Long-standing Polish football club Wisła Kraków announced this week that it has signed a partnership agreement with betting brand Superbet, bringing the operator on as a partner of the club.

Under the terms of the deal, Superbet will serve as a partner, gaining access to exclusive marketing rights. The two groups will work together to offer fans of the club with a dedicated fan code that'll see new accounts generating revenue that will go toward Wisła Kraków's academy.

Wisła Kraków was founded in 1906 and has played in a variety of tiers of football within the country ever since. Notably, the club operated in secret during World War II, when Poland was occupied by Germany. The team has played in Henryk Reyman Stadium since 1953, with the club hosting more than 33,000 fans on a per-game basis.

No details on the consideration paid was made publicly available.

"We are delighted that Superbet is joining the sponsors of Wisła Kraków!" said Wisła Kraków President Jaroslaw Krolewski. "It is tremendous support and motivation for our further development.

"Thanks to Superbet, we can set even more ambitious sports and development goals. I am particularly pleased that our business partner is a company with such a talented team of people. Together, it will be great."

Superbet Poland General Manager Lukasz Seweryniak added: "We consider this partnership a key milestone for our brand and view it as a long-term commitment, with the agreement in place until at least 2027.

"We have no doubt that we are now sponsoring one of the most important clubs in Polish football and we believe the club will soon reclaim its rightful place. We want to be part of this journey and, together with the fans, write a new and fantastic chapter in our brand's history."
