This story was published more than 8 years ago.

Earlier today a punter playing the Playtech video slot Beach Life won the game's progressive jackpot for a large $2,638,548 cash prize, the first win for the game in the last 38 weeks.

Details on the win have not yet been revealed, but we can confirm that the jackpot was hit, and is the 14th win that we have recorded for the game since we began tracking the jackpot in December 2009. The jackpot pays out $3,205,257 on average and is paid out ever 24 weeks on average. The largest win on record for the jackpot is $8.2 million, which was won at BetFred in 2012.

The Beach Life Jackpot is won when players are able to end up landing 5 scatter symbols on the slot's 20th payline.

Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.
