Definitions
- the invention relates to a fitting with a swivel spout according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the outer fitting housing can be pivotally mounted on a radially inner, pivot-fixed housing insert.
- a single-lever mixing cartridge is integrated with the operating lever, the temperature and / or amount of effluent mixed water is adjustable.
- An adapter is integrated into the housing insert for easy connection of the cold and hot water pipes to the mixing cartridge. On the input side of the adapter, the cold and hot water pipes are connected. On its output side, the adapter is in connection with the mixing cartridge.
- the adapter has a flow passage, which connects the mixing cartridge fluidly with a guided to the water outlet mixing water pipe.
- the mixed-water flow passage in the adapter is an annular space running around the housing axis with a radially open flow area which is fluidically connected to a mixed water line leading to the water outlet.
- the cold and hot water channels of the adapter extend in the axial direction through the mixed water annulus. This means that the adapter-side cold and hot water channels are lapped by the outflowing mixed water.
- a mixed water guide through the adapter of the annular space in the axial direction is sealed at the top and bottom, each with a ring seal against the inner wall of the valve body.
- the two ring seals are circumferentially positioned between the adapter outer circumference and the inner circumference of the fitting housing and therefore designed with a correspondingly large sealing diameter. This results in a pivoting operation comparatively large friction between the rotating valve body and the pivot-fixed housing insert, which may possibly limit the ease of use.
- the impermeable seal can be carried out only with increased assembly-technical effort and material costs.
- the object of the invention is to provide a low-cost sanitary fitting in which the waterway is separated from the metal of the fitting housing, whereby instead of brass, a cheaper zinc die-casting is used.
- another object is to simplify the assembly and manufacture of the valve body, specifically using a low cost zinc injection molding process.
- a fitting should be provided with a swivel spout, in which the effort for sealing is reduced in a simple manner.
- the mixing water line adjoining the adapter-side mixing water flow passage in the flow direction is formed by at least one line element, in particular by a deflection insert.
- the valve has at least one pivot bearing point on which the line element is pivotally mounted, in particular coaxially with the housing axis. Due to the pivotal mounting, the line element of the mixed water line can follow swivel actuations of the valve body smoothly, without being exposed to excessively large mechanical continuous loads. The life suitability of the valve is thus considerably increased.
- the housing axis is to be understood in the present application, a pivot axis about which the valve body is rotatable in a user-side pivoting operation.
- the surface of the housing axis is to be understood as meaning a surface normal which passes through the center of gravity of a cross-sectional area through the valve.
- a hollow-cylindrical fitting housing whose central axis forms the housing axis.
- One of the pivot bearing points of the deflecting insert may preferably be formed directly on the pivot-resistant adapter.
- a further bearing point may be formed on a housing insert which is separate from the adapter.
- the diverter insert may be liquid-tightly coupled to the inlet outlet opening with an inlet-side channel section and having an outlet-side channel section, to which, for example, a tubular water line can be connected, which is guided to the water outlet opening.
- the inlet-side channel portion of the deflection insert in dual function at the same time the top mentioned adapter-side pivot bearing point form.
- the inlet-side channel portion is preferably coaxial with the housing axis in a liquid-tight plug-in connection with the mixed water nozzle of the adapter, wherein the connector is designed to allow a pivoting movement of the deflecting insert.
- the deflecting insert can have a bearing contour, that is to say, for example, a bearing journal, on its side which is axially opposite the inlet-side channel section. This can be pivotally mounted with movement play in a corresponding mating contour of a housing insert.
- the deflection insert can be pivotally supported parallel to the axis or coaxial to the housing axis: A with respect to the housing axis axially parallel, that is eccentric pivot bearing of Umlenkmbies leads in a Armatur- pivoting actuation compensating movements between the deflecting insert and the valve body in the radial direction. This causes mechanical loads of the deflection insert.
- a coaxial that is centric storage of Umlenkmbies preferred, whereby such compensatory movements are eliminated.
- the adapter-side mixing water flow passage may be formed no more than a radially outwardly open annular space which can be sealed only with high assembly effort, but rather as a mixed water channel having an open outlet opening in the axial direction.
- the downstream pivotally mounted conduit element of the mixed water line can be connected to the mixing water outlet opening of the adapter with a sealing diameter that is much smaller than that of the prior art.
- the adapter may have a mixed water connection which delimits the outlet opening which is open in the axial direction. Furthermore, the adapter may have a cold water channel and a hot water channel, the cold and Connect hot water pipes to the valve body. The cold and hot water channels of the adapter can be limited by cold and hot water connection.
- the hot and cold water pipe can be arranged axially parallel to the mixing water pipe.
- the hot and cold water nozzles can preferably be arranged eccentrically to the housing axis, while the mixed water nozzle are arranged centrally to the housing axis.
- the protruding from a main body of the adapter hot, cold and mixed water nozzles are preferably space-saving at one, the cold and hot water lines facing front side of the adapter arranged.
- a water hose can connect to the deflection insert in the direction of flow.
- the water hose can be continuously guided by the deflection insert to the outlet side jet former of the water outlet. In this way, the mixed water flowing out from the mixing cartridge can be guided without contact with respect to an inner wall of the fitting housing up to the water outlet opening.
- the use of such a mixed water line the use of brass as a material for the valve body is no longer required, but is the use of a more cost-zinc armature housing possible.
- the conduit element according to the invention can also have a driver, by means of which the conduit element can be coupled in motion with the fitting housing in the pivoting direction.
- a driver by means of which the conduit element can be coupled in motion with the fitting housing in the pivoting direction.
- the line element that is, the deflection insert
- the adapter can be arranged together with the mixing cartridge in a housing insert. This is swivel-mounted in the installation position within the valve body.
- the housing insert can be designed as a hollow cylinder, the hollow profile of which defines a bottom of the insert on the bottom side and has an upwardly open end face, through which the adapter insert and the valve member can be inserted during assembly.
