지금까지의 다국어 웹사이트는 각각의 언어마다 별도로 웹사이트를 제작하였으며, 사용 방법으로는 원하는 언어를 선택하여 선택되어진 홈페이지로 이동하는 방식이였다.
이러한 방법은 사용하는 언어가 늘어나게 되면 각각의 언어마다 별도로 웹사이트 유지보수를 해주어야 했고 컨텐츠도 각각 별도로 관리를 해야만 하는 수고가 뒤따라 국한된 언어 번역 서비스를 제공하게 되었다.
예를 들어, 하나의 컨텐츠를 생성하면 각각의 언어 웹사이트에 개별적으로 업로드를 해야하고 이 컨텐츠를 수정할 때에도 역시 각각의 언어 웹사이트에 개별적으로 수정을 해야 했다.
이는 컨텐츠 만의 문제가 아니라 공통으로 사용될 수 있는 웹사이트 내의 코드, 이미지, 동영상 등도 개별적으로 관리를 해야 하므로 전 세계의 언어를 한꺼번에 취급하는 웹사이트를 제작하기 위해서는 전 세계의 언어만큼의 웹서버와 코드, 이미지, 동영상 등 웹사이트를 이루는 모든 자원이 전 세계의 언어만큼 존재하여야 하므로 이에 따른 제작비 및 유지 보수 비용이 천문학적으로 늘어날 수밖에 없었다.

상기와 같이 구성되게 된다면 사용자가 선택한 특정 언어로 번역 정보(컨텐츠)를 제공하기 위하여 페이지를 재로딩하지 않게 된다.
즉, 언어의 변경에 있어 페이지의 이동을 통하여 언어를 변경하는 방식이 아니라 한번 로딩된 페이지를 그대로 활용하여 정보(컨텐츠)의 텍스트 부분만을 실시간 전송하여 언어를 변경하여 불필요한 HTML 태그, 웹사이트 공통 부분(상단 메뉴, 광고, 하단, 정보(컨텐츠)의 이미지, 동영상 등)을 재로딩할 필요가 없어 트래픽을 최소화할 수 있게 된다.
또한, 실시간으로 전송시 AJAX, XML,데이터 압축 기술을 활용하여 데이터 전송을 최적화할 수도 있을 것이다.
한편, 추가적으로 다국어변환관리서버(200)는,
특정 언어의 번역 텍스트 정보가 존재하지 않을 경우에 기계 번역을 수행하여 기계 번역된 텍스트 정보를 해당 스마트기기로 제공하기 위한 기계번역부(260)을 더 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
예를 들어, 사용자가 한국어 번역을 제공받기를 원한다면 해당 컨텐츠의 번역 텍스트 정보가 존재하는지를 판단하게 된다.
이때, 존재하지 않는다면 기계번역부에 의해 기계 번역을 수행하고 해당 텍스트 정보를 스마트기기로 제공하는 것이다.

도 6과 같이, 기존의 키보드 상단에 다국어 선택자 열림 및 닫힘 버튼을 배치하고, 이 버튼을 클릭 혹은 아래에서 위로 슬라이딩하면 다국어 버튼의 집합(해당 언어 코드버튼 혹은 해당 언어를 대표할 수 있는 아이콘)인 다국어 선택자가 아래에서 위로 슬라이딩되어 나오게 된다.
이 버튼을 다시 한번 클릭하거나 위에서 아래로 슬라이딩하면 반대로 다국어 선택자는 위에서 아래로 슬라이딩되어 사라지게 되고 버튼만 보이는 초기상태로 돌아가게 된다.
구체적으로 설명하자면, 다국어선택자열림닫힘버튼생성부(111)는 스마트기기의 키보드 상단에 다국어 선택자 열림 및 닫힘 버튼(10)을 생성하게 된다.
이때, 사용자의 다국어 선택자 버튼의 클릭 이벤트를 기다리고 있게 되며, 다국어선택자버튼배치부(112)는 도 7과 같이 다국어 선택자 열림 및 닫힘 버튼을 클릭하는 이벤트 발생시 언어 선택을 위한 다국어 선택자 버튼(20)을 배치하게 된다.
이때, 특정언어고유키값제공부(113)는 상기 다국어 선택자 버튼에서 특정 언어를 클릭할 경우에 해당 언어의 고유키 값 정보를 다국어키보드변환부로 제공하게 된다.
상기 다국어키보드변환부(114)는 제공된 언어의 고유키 값 정보를 다국어변환관리서버에 송출하며, 다국어변환관리서버에서 제공되는 키보드의 버튼을 재배치하게 되는 것이다.
키보드의 재배치는 예를 들어 한국어의 키보드 배열을 특정 언어를 영어로 선택하게 되면 영어의 키보드 배열로 다시 배치하는 것을 의미한다.
이를 위하여 다국어변환관리서버에는 언어별 키보드의 버튼 배치 정보를 저장하고 있는 키보드버튼배치정보디비(미도시)를 포함하여 구성할 수 있다.
상기 다국어선택자닫힘부(115)는 키보드의 재배치가 완료되면 다국어 선택자 버튼을 닫히도록 한다.
즉, 다국어 선택자 버튼이 위에서 아래로 슬라이딩되어 사라지고, 다국어 선택자 열림 및 닫힘 버튼만 디스플레이되는 상태를 의미한다.
한편, 추가적으로 상기 다국어키보드변환수단(110)은 숨김언어버튼표출부(116), 다국어선택자버튼복귀부(117), 추가버튼설정부(118)를 더 포함하여 구성할 수 있다.
상기 숨김언어버튼표출부(116)는 다국어 선택자 버튼이 열려있는 상태에서 다국어 버튼의 집합을 좌에서 우 혹은 우에서 좌로 슬라이딩할 경우에 화면에 숨겨져 있던 언어 버튼을 추가적으로 화면에 출력시키는 것이다.
도 8과 같이, 숨겨져 있던 언어 버튼을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 다국어선택자버튼복귀부(117)는 다국어 선택자 버튼이 열려있는 상태에서 다국어 버튼의 집합 중 원하는 언어를 클릭하여 해당 언어의 키보드의 버튼으로 배치된 키보드 중 특정 키를 클릭할 경우에 다국어 선택자 버튼을 대기 상태로 복귀시키게 된다.
즉, 다국어 선택자 버튼은 닫혀 있고 다국어 선택자 열림 및 닫힘 버튼만 디스플레이되어 있는 상태가 된다.
한편, 추가버튼설정부(118)는 언어의 키보드 종류를 설정할 수 있도록 설정 버튼을 제공하는 것이다.
즉, 다국어 선택자 버튼의 집합 중 제일 첫 번째 버튼은 사용할 언어를 선택할 수 있는 설정버튼을 배치해 해당 버튼을 클릭하게 되면 사용할 언어의 종류, 언어의 표시방법, 언어의 키보드 종류(예: 한국/두벌식,세벌식)등을 선택, 설정할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 다국어 변환이 용이한 스마트기기의 다국어키보드번역수단 블록도이다.
도 4에 도시한 바와 같이, 다국어키보드번역수단(120)은,
번역기 버튼을 화면에 출력시키는 번역기버튼제공부(121),
번역기 버튼 클릭시, 번역 대상 언어를 선택할 수 있도록 번역 대상 언어 버튼을 화면에 출력시키는 번역대상언어제공부(122),
텍스트 입력창을 제공하기 위한 텍스트입력창제공부(123),
상기 텍스트 입력창에 입력된 텍스트 정보를 획득하여 각국언어번역디비를 참조하여 번역을 수행하기 위한 번역수행부(124),
상기 번역수행부에 의해 수행된 번역 정보를 획득하여 번역정보디비에 제공하기 위한 번역데이터입력부(125)를 포함하여 구성되게 된다.
즉, 키보드의 어느 한 영역에 번역기 버튼을 두어 해당 버튼을 클릭시에 키보드 상단 혹은 팝업 형식으로 작은 번역기를 페이지 이동없이 표시하여 자신의 언어로 표시된 텍스트를 제 3언어의 텍스트로 변환하는 것이다.
지금까지의 번역기 이용 방법은 사용하던 어플리케이션을 중지하고 번역기 어플리케이션을 구동시킨 후 번역을 하여 번역된 텍스트를 선택, 복사하고 다시 번역 어플리케이션을 중지 후 기존 사용하던 어플리케이션으로 다시 돌아가 붙여넣기를 하는 방법으로 이용되고 있었다.
하지만 본 발명은 사용 중 키보드의 번역 버튼 클릭후 텍스트를 입력하여 바로 번역하고 입력 버튼 클릭만으로 모든 절차가 종료된다.
구체적으로 기존 번역기 사용 절차는 사용어플리케이션 종료 -> 번역기어플리케이션 실행 -> 텍스트 입력 -> 번역 -> 선택 복사하기 -> 번역기 어플리케이션 종료 -> 사용어플리케이션 실행 -> 붙여넣기와 같이 총 8단계 이상을 거치게 되지만, 본 발명의 경우에는 번역버튼클릭 -> 텍스트 입력 -> 번역 -> 입력과 같이 총 4단계로 이루어지게 된다.
구체적으로 구성을 설명하자면, 상기 번역기버튼제공부(121)에 의해 번역기 버튼을 화면에 출력시키며, 번역기 버튼 클릭시, 번역대상언어제공부(122)는 번역 대상 언어를 선택할 수 있도록 번역 대상 언어 버튼을 화면에 출력시키게 된다.
이때, 텍스트입력창제공부(123)는 텍스트 입력창을 스마트기기의 화면에 제공하게 되며, 상기 번역수행부(124)는 텍스트 입력창에 입력된 텍스트 정보를 획득하여 각국언어번역디비(미도시)를 참조하여 번역을 수행하게 된다.
웹사이트의 컨텐츠 영역에서 번역을 위한 번역 버튼을 클릭하면 해당 컨텐츠의 텍스트 입력창을 제공하고 이렇게 변역된 데이터는 고유키 값 정보와 함께 번역정보디비에 저장되고 타 사용자는 변역된 데이터를 이용하게 되는 것이다.
이때, 상기 번역데이터입력부(125)는 번역수행부에 의해 수행된 번역 정보를 획득하여 번역정보디비에 제공하여 저장하도록 한다.
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 다국어 변환이 용이한 스마트기기의 길게누름번역수단 블록도이다.
도 5에 도시한 바와 같이, 길게누름번역수단(130)은,
텍스트를 길게 눌렀는지를 체크하기 위한 길게누름체크부(131),
텍스트를 길게 눌렀을 경우에 문장인지, 단어인지를 체크하여 단어일 경우에 사전적 의미와 단어의 예를 제공하기 위한 문장/단어체크부(132),
번역기 버튼을 화면에 출력시키며, 선택된 언어 정보를 획득하기 위한 번역기버튼제공부(133),
선택된 언어 정보를 획득하여 각국언어번역디비를 참조하여 해당 텍스트를 번역하는 길게누름번역수행부(134),
해당 텍스트를 번역된 텍스트로 변환시키는 텍스트변환부(135)를 포함하여 구성되게 된다.
상기한 길게 눌러 선택하는 번역의 경우에는 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC등의 스마트 기기에서 텍스트를 길게 누르면 나타나는 복사, 붙여넣기, 삭제 등의 팝업에 길게누름번역수단을 제공하여 해당 번역 버튼을 클릭시에 번역할 언어를 선택하면 해당 언어가 선택되어진 언어로 변환되는 방법이며, 해당 방법은 스마트기기 전반에서 이용이 가능하다.
예를 들어, 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC에서 문자 발송시에 발송할 텍스트를 입력하고 입력한 텍스트를 길게 누르면 복사,붙여넣기,삭제 등과 번역 버튼이 함께 디스플레이되고 번역 버튼을 클릭하면 언어를 선택할 수 있는 작은 창이 열리고 변역할 언어를 클릭하면 기존 텍스트가 번역된 텍스트로 대체되는 것이다.
다른 예로서, 스마트기기에서 웹사이트를 탐색중 모르는 언어가 표시될 때 해당 언어의 텍스트를 길게 눌러 나타난 복사, 붙여넣기, 삭제 등과 함께 번역버튼이 디스플레이되고 번역버튼을 클릭하면 번역할 언어를 선택할 수 있는 작은 창이 열리고 원하는 언어를 클릭하면 해당 웹사이트의 원본 언어는 번역된 언어로 대체된다.
다른 예로서, 길게 눌러 번역방법은 선택의 범위에 따라 단어 단위로도 이용이 가능하며, 길게 눌러 선택된 전체 문장을 단어 단위로 좁혀 번역 버튼을 클릭하면 선택문장이 단어일 경우 해당 단어의 사전적 의미와 예등을 작은 팝업 으로 디스플레이해준다.
구체적으로 설명하자면, 길게누름체크부(131)는 스마트기기에서 텍스트를 길게 눌렀는지를 체크하게 된다.
예를 들어, 스마트기기마다 수초 동안 눌렀는지를 체크하게 되는 것이며, 이러한 기술은 널리 알려진 기술이다.
상기 문장/단어체크부(132)는 텍스트를 길게 눌렀을 경우에 문장인지, 단어인지를 체크하여 단어일 경우에 사전적 의미와 단어의 예를 제공하게 된다.
즉, 문장일 경우에는 번역할 언어를 선택하는 것이지만 단어의 경우에는 번역할 언어를 선택한 후 사전적 의미와 단어의 예 등을 팝업으로 제공할 수 있기 때문이다.
이때, 상기 번역기버튼제공부(133)는 번역기 버튼을 화면에 출력시키며, 선택된 언어 정보를 획득하게 된다.
상기 길게누름번역수행부(134)는 선택된 언어 정보를 획득하여 각국언어번역디비를 참조하여 해당 텍스트를 번역하게 되며, 텍스트변환부(135)는 해당 텍스트를 번역된 텍스트로 변환시키게 된다.
결국, 사용자단말기를 이용하여 다국어 정보(컨텐츠)를 제공하는 사이트에 접속하여 특정 원문 정보(컨텐츠) 및 제공받기를 원하는 특정 언어를 클릭할 경우에 특정 원문 정보(컨텐츠)의 고유키 값 정보와 특정 언어의 고유키 값 정보를 다국어변환관리서버로 송출하고, 다국어변환관리서버에서 제공되는 특정 언어로 변환된 컨텐츠 정보를 사용자단말기에 제공하도록 하며, 사용자단말기의 키보드에 다국어 선택자 버튼을 배치하여 특정 언어를 선택할 경우에 고유키 값 정보를 다국어변환관리서버에 송출하고 다국어변환관리서버에서 제공되는 키보드의 버튼을 재배치하여 제공함으로써, 다국어 변환을 쉽고 빠르게 처리할 수 있도록 하면서 동시에 스마트기기의 키보드 버튼을 이용하여 손쉽게 다국어로 변환할 수 있는 효과를 발휘하게 된다.
본 발명의 범위는 상기 상세한 설명보다는 후술하는 특허청구범위에 의하여 나타내어지며, 특허청구 범위의 의미 및 범위 그리고 그 등가 개념으로부터 도출되는 모든 변경 또는 변형된 형태가 본 발명의 범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 한다.
본 발명은 다국적 언어 변환이 가능한 스마트기기 산업 분야에 널리 적욜될 수 있다.

  1. 다국어 정보(컨텐츠)를 제공하는 웹사이트에 접속하여 특정 원문 정보(컨텐츠) 및 제공받기를 원하는 특정 언어를 클릭할 경우에 특정 원문 정보(컨텐츠)의 고유키 값 정보와 특정 언어의 고유키 값 정보를 다국어변환관리서버로 송출하며, 키보드 상단에 다국어 선택자 버튼이 배치되어 특정 언어를 선택할 경우에 고유키 값 정보를 다국어변환관리서버에 송출하고 다국어변환관리서버에서 제공되는 키보드의 버튼을 재배치하기 위한 스마트기기(100);
