グラフィックプロセッサ510は、AVアプリ用マイコン500によるAV再生処理で得られる情報を表示するアプリケーションを実行して、AV再生用画面が描画された画面データを生成する。
センサアプリ用マイコン600は、カメラ接続I/F620を介して車載カメラ650~653により撮影された車両周辺の映像を解析処理するマイコンである。
グラフィックプロセッサ610は、車載カメラ650~653により撮影された車両周辺の映像およびセンサアプリ用マイコン600による画像解析結果を表示するアプリケーションを実行して、車両周辺の撮影画像および解析結果を表示する画面が描画された画面データを生成する。
例えば、複数のアプリケーションユニットの機能が1つに集約されたアプリケーションユニットとし、このアプリケーションユニットが、メータ表示、カーナビ表示、AV再生表示、センサ検知情報表示といった各アプリケーション情報の画面データを出力するように構成してもよい。
ボディ系ECU80は、本システムを搭載する車両でユーザに操作される車体エレクトロニクスの電子制御を行うECUであり、ドア、エアコン、ライト、ミラーなどの状態を示す情報を保持する。
車内通信ネットワーク901は、画像統合制御マイコン100、各アプリケーションユニット30~60のマイコン、パワートレイン系ECU70およびボディ系ECU80を通信接続する通信ネットワークであり、例えば、CAN通信、LIN(Local Interconnect Network)通信、FlexRay通信などの通信ネットワークで実現される。画像統合制御マイコン100および各アプリケーションユニット30~60のマイコンは、車内通信ネットワーク901を介してECU70,80が保持する情報が通知されて車両の走行状態を把握することができる。
通信回線902は、画像統合制御マイコン100と各表示器20,21に付随する操作系200,210とを通信接続する通信回線であり、例えば、低速シリアル通信、I2C通信、CAN通信などの通信回線で実現される。なお、通信回線901は、通信回線900とは別回線として設ける。
図2は、メータアプリユニットが生成した画面データの一例を示す図である。図2に示すように、メータアプリユニット30が生成するメータ表示用の画面データ330には、メータ標準画面331とメータサブ画面332が含まれる。
メータ標準画面331は、メータアプリ用マイコン300によってパワートレイン系ECU70およびボディ系ECU80から取得された各情報を、通常の表示態様で表示する画面である。ここで、メータアプリでの通常の表示態様とは、一般的な車両のインパネに設置される計器パネルを模擬した画像で各情報を表示する表示態様であるものとする。
図2に示す例では、メータサブ画面332において、速度メータ表示部331aに表示される車速“50km/h”が、大きなフォントの文字で表示されている。
なお、画面データ330は、図2に示すように、メータ標準画面331およびメータサブ画面332を仮想画面333上に描画したデータである。仮想画面333は、メータサブ画面332を描画するために、インパネに設置された表示器20、すなわち車両の走行状態に関する情報を表示する用途の表示器の画面サイズよりも大きい画面であるものとする。図2中の斜線部分はブランク表示であり、何も描画されていない領域を示している。
カーナビ標準画面431は、カーナビアプリ用マイコン400が、GPS受信機450から取得したGPS情報と地図データベースから読み出した地図データに基づき実行したナビゲーション処理で得られる情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面である。
ここで、カーナビアプリでの通常の表示態様とは、図3に示すように、自車周辺の地図と、この地図画面上に案内ルート431aと自車位置マーク431bを重畳表示する表示態様であるものとする。案内ルート431aは、カーナビアプリ用マイコン400が探索した案内ルートであり、自車位置マーク431bは、GPS情報に基づく自車位置を示すマークである。
図3に示す例では、ルート案内情報によって自車を300m先の交差点で左折させようとしているので、カーナビサブ画面432において、“300m先で左折すべきこと”が文字および矢印図形で表現され、カーナビサブ画面433では、“300m先 xx交差点左折”と文字だけで表示されている。
AVアプリ標準画面531は、AVアプリ用マイコン500がオーディオ再生アプリケーションを実行して再生するオーディオに関する情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面である。ここで、AVアプリでの通常の表示態様とは、図4に示すように、一般的なオーディオの再生操作画面を表示する表示態様であるものとする。
センサアプリ標準画面631は、車載カメラ650~653によって撮影された車両周辺の撮影画像と、センサアプリ用マイコン600によって撮影画像を解析して検知された自車両周辺の情報とを、通常の表示態様で表示する画面である。
ここで、センサアプリでの通常の表示態様とは、図5に示すように、車載カメラ650~653によって撮影された各映像とこれを解析して得られた自車両周辺の情報とを含む画面631a~631dを表示する表示態様であるものとする。
例えば、左側面カメラ映像画面631cに撮影された左後方の車両が自車に接近していることが画像解析により判明した場合、左側面カメラ映像画面631cにおいてその車両を強調表示または警告文表示を行う。
図5に示す例では、センサアプリサブ画面632において、左後方の車両が自車に接近しているという画像解析結果が文字および図形で表示され、センサアプリサブ画面633において、前方カメラ映像から検知された速度制限警告表示が文字および図形で表示されている。
図6に示すように、通信フォーマットは、2バイト単位のデータ列として構成される。
また、この通信フォーマットには、通信コマンド種別としてアプリ画面表示情報を示すデータ、この通信フォーマット上の通信データサイズ、通信先マイコンアドレス(画像統合制御マイコン100)、通信元マイコンアドレス(アプリケーションユニットの対応するマイコン300~600)がそれぞれ設定される。さらに、画面データ330~630に実際に描画された画面の情報が設定される。
例えば、図7に示す画面データ330である場合、画面全体サイズは、横ピクセル数が1920、縦ピクセル数が1080となる。
また、内部表示画面1の表示位置は、横ピクセル位置“0”、縦ピクセル位置“0”が設定される。
内部表示画面1表示内容には、例えば、メータアプリユニット30における画面表示形式情報または表示優先度を示す情報が設定される。なお、内部表示画面2の情報(ここでは、メータサブ画面332)も同様に設定される。
なお、画面表示形式は、アナログメータ表示形式/デジタルメータ表示形式、メータ表示情報の一部簡易表示(速度のデジタル表示など)といった表示形式である。
また、表示優先度は、通常のメータ表示(速度、エンジン回転数、シフト情報など)か車両情報に基づく警報表示で即座に運転者に通知しないと走行中の安全に影響が出る度合いを示している。
すなわち、画像統合制御マイコン100は、画面表示情報に含まれる、送信元のアプリケーションを識別する識別子である通信元マイコンアドレス(各アプリケーション専用マイコンアドレス)に基づいて、画面表示情報がどのアプリケーションユニットから送信されたかを判断する。
そして、画像統合制御マイコン100は、用途対応リストを参照して、アプリケーション情報が表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報であるのか、表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報であるのかを判断する。
なお、用途対応リストは、図8に示すように、表示器ごとに各アプリケーションが表示器の用途に対応するか否かを示すデータである。図8中の○印は、用途に対応するアプリケーション情報であることを示しており、×印は、用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報であることを示している。
画像統合処理部110は、画像統合制御マイコン100からの指示に従って、画像取り込み用メモリ110aに書き込まれた画面データから画面を切り出す。
表示出力コントローラ120は、フレームバッファ領域から読み出した表示画面データを、表示器ごとの信号インタフェースに合わせて、クロック、同期信号を付加した映像信号として表示器20,21に伝送して表示させる。
上述までの処理は1フレームごとに繰り返し行われる。
そして、画像統合制御マイコン100は、表示器20,21における画面の表示状態を画面表示情報として、通信回線900を介して、アプリケーションユニット30~60のマイコン300~600に通知する。マイコン300~600は、この画面表示情報に基づいて、自身が出力した画面データ330~630が表示器20,21でどのように表示されているのかを把握することができる。
画像統合制御マイコン100は、各アプリケーションユニット30~60から出力された画面データに描画された画面のうち、表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報については通常の表示態様で表示する画面を切り出し、表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報については簡易な表示態様で表示する画面を切り出させて、これらの画面を含む画面レイアウトを決定する。
図10は、画像統合制御マイコンの動作を示すフローチャートである。画像統合制御マイコン100は、各アプリケーションユニット30~60から画面表示情報を受信する(ステップST100)。次いで、画像統合制御マイコン100は、画面表示情報を参照して、表示器ごとに表示するアプリケーション情報を選択する(ステップST101)。
画像統合制御マイコン100は、用途対応リストを参照して、選択したアプリケーション情報が、表示器の用途に対応しているか否かを判定する(ステップST102)。
表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報である場合(ステップST102;YES)、画像統合制御マイコン100は、このアプリケーション情報について通常の表示態様で示す画面データを選択する(ステップST103)。例えば、通常の表示態様の画面および簡易な表示態様の画面がそれぞれ描画された画面データの場合、画像統合制御マイコン100は、この画面データに描画された画面のうち、通常の表示態様の画面が描画された画面データを選択する。
一方、表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報である場合には(ステップST102;NO)、画像統合制御マイコン100は、このアプリケーション情報については簡易な表示態様で示す画面データを選択する(ステップST104)。例えば、通常の表示態様の画面および簡易な表示態様の画面がそれぞれ描画された画面データの場合、画像統合制御マイコン100は、この画面データに描画された画面のうち、簡易な表示態様の画面が描画された画面データを選択する。
この後、画像統合制御マイコン100は、表示器ごとに選択した全てのアプリケーション情報について上記判断がなさたか否かを判定する(ステップST105)。
未だに上記判断を行っていないアプリケーション情報がある場合(ステップST105;NO)、ステップST10102に戻って、上述の処理を繰り返す。
また、全てのアプリケーション情報について上記判断を行った場合(ステップST105;YES)、画像統合制御マイコン100は、選択結果を画像統合処理部110に送信する(ステップST106)。これにより、画像統合処理部110は、画面データに描画された画面から、選択結果の画面を切り出す。
例えば、視認対象が運転者であるインパネに設置される表示器20は、車両の走行状態に関する情報のメータ表示を行う用途の表示器である。画像統合制御マイコン100は、あらかじめ設定されている表示器ごとの用途に応じて切り出し画面を決定する。
表示器20の場合、メータアプリユニット30のアプリケーション情報(メータ表示情報)については、図2に示したような通常の表示態様で表示する画面が切り出し画面として選択される。メータアプリユニット30以外のアプリケーションユニット40~60のアプリケーション情報については、簡易な表示態様で表示する画面が切り出し画面として選択される。
例えば、同乗者が、表示器21上に搭載されたタッチパネル(操作系210)を操作して、表示器21に表示されているルート案内情報を表示器20で表示するよう画像統合制御マイコン100に指示する。これに応じて、画像統合制御マイコン100が、画像統合処理部110を制御してルート案内情報の簡易表示用画面(カーナビサブ画面432)を切り出させ、これを含む画面レイアウトの表示画面を表示器20に表示させる。
表示器21のタッチ操作としては、タッチ面上で表示器20側に案内ルート431aをドラッグするなどの簡易な操作であってもよく、表示器20に対応するアイコンを押下するなどの操作であってもよい。
例えば、車両が走行している間は、メータ表示に加えて、ルート案内情報を簡易な表示態様で表示するようにあらかじめ設定しておく。
例えば、図12に示すように、表示器20の表示画面を、図2で示したメータ標準画面331上に、図5で示したカーナビサブ画面632が重畳表示された画面レイアウトとする。この場合においても、運転者は、運転で必要なメータ情報を的確に認識でき、さらにセンサ検知情報に基づく警告内容も瞬時に認識することが可能である。
なお、上記の場合において、アプリケーションユニット30~60から画像統合制御マイコン100に送信される画面表示情報には表示優先度が含まれており、この表示優先度は、通常のメータ表示(速度、エンジン回転数、シフト情報など)か、車両情報に基づく警報表示で即座に運転者に通知しないと走行中の安全に影響が出る度合いを示している。
そこで、画像統合制御マイコン100は、この表示優先度と、アプリケーション情報が表示器の用途に対応するか否かに基づいて、表示器に表示すべきアプリケーション情報を判断してもよい。
車両が停止しており、車速などのメータの表示を運転者に提示する必要がない場合は、例えば、表示器20でカーナビゲーション操作画面を通常の表示態様で表示する。これにより、運転者は、表示器20から視線を外すことなく、この操作画面に基づいてカーナビゲーション操作を行うことができる。また、通常の表示態様でカーナビゲーション画面を表示するので、表示器20においても操作性を維持することができる。
このように、車両の走行状態に関する用途の表示器20においても、車両が走行していなければ、用途以外のアプリケーション情報を視認性よく表示することが可能である。
前席正面中央に設置される表示器21は、カーナビゲーション情報、AV情報、車両の周辺情報を提示する用途を持った表示器である。このように画面レイアウトを構成することで、助手席の同乗者は、表示器21において地図表示画面上のルート案内を視認しながら、自車周辺の撮影映像を通常の表示態様で視認することができる。
この場合、助手席の同乗者は、運転者の運転操作に応じた車速遷移を知る必要はなく、その時点の車速の値を確認できればよい。図14に示す表示画面は、このような同乗者のニーズに応えることができる。
また、表示器21において、複数の用途のそれぞれに対応するアプリケーション情報のうちから、表示すべきアプリケーション情報を決定する場合について述べる。
この場合、画像統合制御マイコン100が、例えば、ユーザが操作系を用いてメニュー設定画面(画像統合ユニット10自身が描画した画面)から選択したものを、表示すべきアプリケーション情報として決定してもよい。
なお、表示器21に表示するアプリケーション情報は、上述のようなユーザ設定の他、アプリケーションの使用状況、ギア位置(例えば、バックにギアが入っている場合、後方画像表示する)、アプリケーション情報の内容(例えば、センサ検知情報(カメラ画像)で周辺に障害物が存在することが検知された場合に、優先的にセンサ検知情報を表示するなど)に応じて選択される。
画像統合制御マイコン100は、上述したように、表示器21のフレームバッファ領域の描画状態から、表示器21の表示状態として、表示器21の画面上のどの位置に、どのようなサイズで、どのアプリケーションユニットが生成した画面が表示されているのかを管理している。
図14に示すように、ユーザAが、AVアプリ標準画面531に表示された操作ボタンの位置をタッチ操作すると、そのタッチ座標位置を、操作系210が通信回線902を介して画像統合制御マイコン100へ通知する。
画像統合制御マイコン100は、管理している表示器21の表示状態と、操作系210から通知されたタッチ座標位置とを照合して、タッチ操作された画面が、AVアプリユニット50によって生成された画面であると判定する。この後、画像統合制御マイコン100は、通信回線900を介してタッチ座標位置および図9に示した画面表示情報をAVアプリ用マイコン500に通知する。
AVアプリ用マイコン500は、画像統合制御マイコン100から通知されたタッチ座標位置および画面表示情報に基づいて、自身のグラフィックプロセッサ510が生成した画面におけるどの操作ボタンが操作されたかを判定し、判定結果の操作ボタンに応じた処理を実行する。図14の場合、再生中のオーディオが巻き戻される。
さらに、この実施の形態1によれば、画像統合制御マイコン100が、表示器20,21の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報のうち、ユーザ操作で指定されたアプリケーション情報の画面が描画された画面データを選択する。このようにすることで、ユーザが所望する情報を所望する表示器に表示可能であり、本システムの利便性の向上を図ることができる。
図15は、この発明の実施の形態2に係る表示制御システムの構成を示すブロック図である。図15に示すように、実施の形態2に係る表示制御システムにおいては、画像統合ユニット10Aが、図1に示した表示出力コントローラ120の代わりに、映像伝送処理部130を備えて構成される。映像伝送処理部130は、画像統合処理部110によって生成された表示器20,21の表示画面データを、フレームバッファ領域から1フレーム単位で読み出して、表示器20,21に搭載された映像伝送受信部130a,130bに高速シリアル通信で伝送する表示出力部である。また、映像伝送受信部130a,130bは、映像伝送処理部130から受信したシリアル通信信号から、自身の表示器に対応する表示画像データを抽出して出力する伝送受信部である。なお、図15において、図1と同一構成要素には同一符号を付して説明を省略する。
映像伝送受信部130a,130bは、図16に示す通信パケットデータのヘッダ情報から、映像データの通信信号であることを認識して、自身に対応する表示器用映像データ150a,150bのパケットのみを抽出し、表示器インタフェースのタイミングに合わせて表示器20,21へ出力して表示を行う。
この場合、画像統合制御マイコン100は、図16に示すデータから、操作系200,210の操作情報を示す操作系信号151a,151bのパケットのみを抽出して、対応する処理を行う。例えば、図14で説明したような処理を行い、対応する処理をアプリケーションユニットに実行させる。
このように構成することでも、表示器20,21を視認する対象ユーザにとって適切な表示態様で情報を提示することができる。また、簡易な通信構成によって、画像統合制御マイコン100、映像伝送処理部130および映像伝送受信部130a,130bの間を通信接続することができる。
Claims (9)
- 移動体に搭載された複数の表示器で複数のアプリケーションユニットの画面表示を行う表示制御システムにおいて、
前記複数のアプリケーションユニットが生成したアプリケーション情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データおよび前記アプリケーション情報を簡易な表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを入力して、前記通常の表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データおよび前記簡易な表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを用いて前記表示器ごとの表示画面データを生成する画像処理部と、
前記画像処理部が生成した表示画面データを、対応する表示器に出力して表示させる表示出力部と、
前記画面データのうち、前記表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報については通常の表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを選択し、前記表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報については簡易な表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを選択し、選択した画面データに基づいて、前記画像処理部を制御して前記表示器ごとに前記表示画面データを生成させる制御部とを備えたことを特徴とする表示制御システム。 - 前記画像処理部は、前記複数のアプリケーションユニットが生成したアプリケーション情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面および簡易な表示態様で表示する画面がそれぞれ描画された画面データを入力し、前記画面データを用いて前記表示器ごとの表示画面データを生成し、
前記制御部は、前記画面データに描画された画面のうち、前記表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報については通常の表示態様で表示する画面を選択し、前記表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報については簡易な表示態様で表示する画面を選択し、前記画像処理部を制御して、前記選択した画面が描画された画面データを、前記画面データから切り出させ、切り出した画面データに基づいて、前記表示器ごとに前記表示画面データを生成させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報のうち、ユーザ操作で指定されたアプリケーション情報の画面が描画された画面データを選択することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記移動体の移動状態に関する用途の表示器について、当該移動体が移動中である場合、当該表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを選択し、当該移動体が移動していない場合には、当該表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報を表示する画面が描画された画面データを選択しない、もしくは、前記表示器の用途に対応するアプリケーション情報を簡易な表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データおよび前記表示器の用途に対応しないアプリケーション情報を通常の表示態様で表示する画面が描画された画面データを選択することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記複数のアプリケーションユニットは、画面ごとの表示態様を示す種別、画面の表示位置および画面のサイズを含む画面表示情報を前記制御部に送信し、
前記制御部は、前記画面表示情報に基づいて、前記画面データを選択することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。 - 前記制御部は、選択した前記画面データの前記表示器における表示状態を管理し、前記アプリケーションユニットが生成した画面データの表示状態を、当該アプリケーションユニットに通知することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記画像処理部は、前記制御部が選択した画面データの画面を画像加工して表示画面データを生成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。
- 前記表示器ごとに設けられ、受信したシリアル通信信号から当該表示器に対応する表示画像データを抽出して当該表示器に出力する伝送受信部を備え、
前記表示出力部および前記制御部は、前記伝送受信部とシリアル通信を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記表示器の表示画面を構成する画面のうち、当該表示器に設けられたタッチパネルのタッチ座標位置に対応する画面を照合して、いずれのアプリケーションユニットの画面がタッチされたかを判定し、当該アプリケーションユニットへタッチ情報を送信することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示制御システム。
