本発明の実施例1を図1~図12によって説明する。実施例1は、互いに嵌合可能な第1、第2ハウジング10、90と、第1ハウジング10に組付けられるスライダ60と、スライダ60に組付けられるバネ部材80と、第1ハウジング10に装着される第1端子金具20と、第2ハウジング90に装着される第2端子金具99とを備えている。なお、以下の説明において、前後方向については、第1、第2ハウジング10、90の相互の嵌合面側を前方とし、上下方向については図3を基準とする。
また、図9に示すように、連結部63の後端の幅方向中央部には、略矩形状に凹む嵌合位置保持部64が形成されている。図5に示すように、スライダ60が嵌合位置にあるとき、嵌合位置保持部64の内側には、ロックアーム17の嵌合位置保持受け部23が進入して当て止めされるようになっている。
まず、スライダ60のバネ収容部65にバネ部材80が収容される。バネ部材80は、開放部66を通してバネ収容部65に挿入される。すると、バネ部材80の前端が第1バネ受け部67に支持されるとともに、バネ部材80の後端が第2バネ受け部68に支持される。
その後、第1、第2ハウジング10、90が正規嵌合位置に至ると、図5に示すように、ロックアーム17がロック部92に弾性的に係止され、第1、第2ハウジング10、90が抜け止め状態に保持される。同時に、第1、第2端子金具20、99が互いに正規接続される。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような態様も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)バネ部材は、第1ハウジングとスライダとの間に介設されるものであってもよい。
(2)スライダは、初期位置から嵌合位置に向けて前進する構成であってもよい。
(3)初期位置保持部の先端部には、係止突起にかわって係止凹部が形成され、初期位置保持受け部は、凹状の形態ではなく、係止凹部に引っ掛け可能な突状の形態をなすものであってもよい。
(4)実施例1とは逆に、嵌合位置保持部がスライダの連結部に突設され、嵌合位置保持受け部が前記突状の嵌合位置保持部が進入可能なようにロックアームの先端部に凹設されるものであってもよい。

Claims (4)
- ロック部を有する第2ハウジングと、
前記第2ハウジングに嵌合可能な第1ハウジングと、
前記第1ハウジングに対して初期位置と嵌合位置との間を移動可能に組付けられ、前記第1、第2ハウジングが正規嵌合されるに伴い、前記初期位置から前記嵌合位置に移動させられるスライダとを備え、
前記第1ハウジングは、前記第2ハウジングが外嵌可能なハウジング本体と、前記ハウジング本体との間に撓み空間が形成されていて、前記ロック部を弾性的に係止することで前記第1、第2ハウジングを嵌合状態に保持するロックアームとを有し、
前記ロックアームには、前記ハウジング本体と対向する面とは反対側の面に、嵌合位置保持受け部が設けられ、
前記ハウジング本体には、前記ロックアームと対向する面に、初期位置保持受け部が設けられ、
前記スライダは、前記撓み空間側に挿入される幅方向に沿った基部と、前記基部の幅方向両端部から突出する一対のアーム部と、前記両アーム部の突出端部同士を連結して前記ロックアームの前記反対側の面に臨む連結部とを有し、
前記基部には、前記初期位置で前記初期位置保持受け部を弾性的に係止することで前記スライダの前記嵌合位置への移動を規制する初期位置保持部が撓み可能に設けられ、
前記連結部には、前記嵌合位置で前記嵌合位置保持受け部に当接することで前記スライダの抜け出しを規制する嵌合位置保持部が設けられていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記第1ハウジングは、前記ロックアームを挟んだ幅方向両側に位置する一対のガイド壁を有し、前記両アーム部が前記両ガイド壁を摺動することにより、前記スライダの移動が案内されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコネクタ。
- 前記スライダは、前記基部と前記両アーム部と前記連結部とで全体として枠状をなし、前記初期位置保持部は、前記スライダの枠内に突出する形態とされていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のコネクタ。
- 前記嵌合位置保持受け部は、前記ロックアームの本体部分に突設され、前記嵌合位置保持部は、前記嵌合位置保持受け部が進入可能なように前記連結部に凹設されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項記載のコネクタ。
