Abstract
Description
本発明が解決しようとする課題は,一対のアーム間へのホイールの組み付けを容易に行うことができる,駆動用モータを備える車両を提供することである。
ステータとロータとを有するモータが内部に配置され,前記ステータを支持する固定側部材と,前記ロータの回転が伝達される回転側部材とを備えたホイールを,一対のアーム間に車軸で支持した,駆動用モータを備える車両において,
前記ロータと回転側部材とをアクスルに回転可能に支持するとともに,前記固定側部材に対する回転側部材の回転中心を位置決めする前記固定側部材との係合部を前記アクスルに設け,該アクスルの係合部を前記固定側部材に係合させて前記回転側部材と固定側部材とをユニット化し,該ユニットを前記一対のアーム間に前記車軸で支持したことを特徴とする。
望ましくは,前記ロータは前記回転側部材で支持する。
さらに望ましくは,前記回転側部材は前記アクスルに回転可能に支持される筒部と,この筒部の外周に設けられたフランジ部とを有し,このフランジ部に前記ロータを締結するとともに,前記筒部は,その軸線方向に関して,前記ロータの締結部よりも突出させ,その突出部をベアリングを介して前記アクスルに支持する。
さらに望ましくは,前記ロータは前記ステータの外周に位置するアウターロータとし,前記ステータはその中心部に空間を備えるドーナツ型に構成し,前記空間に前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部を配置する。
さらに望ましくは,前記アクスルの係合部は,軸線方向に関し,前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部よりも前記固定側部材側に突出しており,前記ロータを支持する回転側部材と,前記ステータを支持する固定側部材とを軸線方向において近づけた際,前記ロータとステータとがオーバーラップする前に,前記係合部が固定側部材と係合する構成とする。
望ましくは,前記固定側部材は,前記一対のアームのうちの一方のアームに固定される円板部と,この円板部の円周部から前記回転側部材側に延びていて前記ステータおよびロータを覆う円筒部とを有し,この円筒部の環状端部と前記回転側部材側とを車両の中心線上でオーバーラップさせて,そのオーバーラップ部分でラビリンスシールを構成する。
さらに望ましくは,前記円筒部の環状端部には前記回転側部材側に向かって拡径する段部を設け,前記回転側部材には軸線方向の凹凸と,半径方向の凹凸とを設けて前記ラビリンスシールを構成する。
したがって,ユニット(したがってホイール)を一対のアーム間に組み付ける作業が容易になる。
また,前記ロータを前記回転側部材で支持することにより,固定側部材に対する回転側部材の回転中心の位置決めと同時に,固定側部材に支持されたステータに対するロータの回転中心の位置決めも行うことができる。
さらに,前記回転側部材は前記アクスルに回転可能に支持される筒部と,この筒部の外周に設けられたフランジ部とを有する構成として,そのフランジ部に前記ロータを締結するとともに,前記筒部は,その軸線方向に関して,前記ロータの締結部よりも突出させ,その突出部をベアリングを介して前記アクスルに支持することにより,前記ロータおよびタイヤを保持する回転側部材を安定した状態で支持することができる。
さらに,前記ロータは前記ステータの外周に位置するアウターロータとし,前記ステータはその中心部に空間を備えるドーナツ型に構成し,前記空間に前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部を配置することにより,ステータの中心部の空間を有効に利用して,ホイールの小型化を図ることができる。
さらに,前記アクスルの係合部を,軸線方向に関し,前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部よりも前記固定側部材側に突出させ,前記ロータを支持する回転側部材と,前記ステータを支持する固定側部材とを軸線方向において近づけた際,前記ロータとステータとがオーバーラップする前に,前記係合部が固定側部材と係合する構成とすることにより,ロータとステータとの間に生じる吸着力が強くなる前に係合部を固定側部材に係合させることができるため,上記ユニット化を容易に行うことができる。
また,前記固定側部材は,前記一対のアームのうちの一方のアームに固定される円板部と,この円板部の円周部から前記回転側部材側に延びていて前記ステータおよびロータを覆う円筒部とを有する構成とし,その円筒部の環状端部と前記回転側部材とを車両の中心線上でオーバーラップさせることにより,水等が入り難い位置でラビリンスシールを構成することが可能になる。
さらに,前記円筒部の環状端部には前記回転側部材側に向かって拡径する段部を設け,前記回転側部材には軸線方向の凹凸と,半径方向の凹凸とを設けて前記ラビリンスシールを構成することにより,シール性を向上させることができる。
図1に示すように,この実施の形態の駆動用モータを備える車両10は自動二輪車であり,車体をなすフレーム11を有している。このフレーム11の前端を構成するヘッドパイプ12に操舵自在に一対のアームとしての一対のフロントフォーク20が取付けられている。このフロントフォーク20の上部にバーハンドル14が取付けられている。フロントフォーク20の下端にホイールとしての前輪30が取り付けられている。フレーム11の内側にはエンジン15が固定されている。エンジン15には吸気装置15iと排気装置15oとが接続されている。フレーム11の後部には,左右一対のスイングアーム16がピボット軸17で上下スイング自在に取り付けられている。このスイングアーム16の後端部に後輪17が取り付けられている。後輪17は,エンジン15により図示しないチェーンやドライブシャフト等の駆動伝達手段を介して駆動することができる。18はリヤクッションユニットであり,上端がフレーム11の後部上部に連結されるとともに下端がリンク機構18bを介してスイングアーム16の下部と車体フレーム11の後部下部とに連結されている。
図2,図3において,40がモータである。
モータ40は,ステータ41とロータ42とを有していて前輪30の駆動源を構成する。前輪30は,左右一対のアーム,この実施の形態では,左右のフロントフォーク20L,20Rの間で車軸21に回転可能に支持されている。モータ40は,前輪30のハブ内に配置されている。
一方,ステータ41はその中心部に空間41s(図3)を備えるドーナツ型に構成されており,その空間41sに回転側部材31における筒部31bの突出部31cが配置されている。
図4に明示されるように,アクスルカラー22の係合部22pは,軸線方向に関し,回転側部材31における筒部31bの突出部31cよりも固定側部材60側に突出している。この係合部22pは,図4に示すように,ロータ42を支持する回転側部材31と,ステータ41を支持する固定側部材60とを,ユニット化すべく軸線方向において近づけた際,ロータ42とステータ41とがオーバーラップする前に(より正確には,ロータ42とステータ41との間に作用する磁力による吸着力が,アクスルカラー22の係合部22pと固定側部材60の係合部60hとの係合作業が困難になるほど強くなる前に),固定側部材60の係合部60hと係合する。
車軸21上には,図2において右側から,上記固定側部材60,アクスルカラー22,サイドカラー23,ボールベアリング25,ボールベアリング26,およびサイドカラー29が装着され,上記アクスルナット21nでフロントフォーク20L,20R間において共締めされて固定されている。
筒部31bには,ボールベアリング25,26との軸線方向における相対移動を規制するためのサークリップ25c,27が装着されている。
固定側部材60内には,前記モータ40のステータ41がソケットボルト62で固定されている。
なお,図2において電力線43は下方へ向けて引き出されているが,これは図1における切断面を展開して示しているためで,実際には,図1に示すように上方に向かって引き出されている。
(a)ロータ42と回転側部材31とを回転可能に支持するアクスル22に,固定側部材60に対する回転側部材31の回転中心を位置決めする,固定側部材60との係合部22pが設けられているので,図3に示すように,係合部22pを固定側部材60に係合させて回転側部材31と固定側部材60とをユニット化すると,アクスル22が固定側部材60に対して位置決めされ,両者における車軸21の挿入穴の中心が一致することとなる。
したがって,ユニットU(したがってホイール30)を一対のアーム20L,20R間に組み付ける作業が容易になる。
(b)ロータ42を回転側部材31で支持しているので,固定側部材60に対する回転側部材31の回転中心の位置決めと同時に,固定側部材60に支持されたステータ41に対するロータ42の回転中心の位置決めも行うことができる。
(c)回転側部材31はアクスル22に回転可能に支持される筒部31bと,この筒部31bの外周に設けられたフランジ部31fとを有し,そのフランジ部31fにロータ42を締結するとともに,前記筒部31bは,その軸線方向に関して,ロータ42の締結部よりも突出させ,その突出部31cをベアリング25を介してアクスル22に支持しているので,ロータ42およびタイヤT(図2)を保持する回転側部材31を安定した状態で支持することができる。
(d)ロータ42はステータ41の外周に位置するアウターロータであり,ステータ41はその中心部に空間41sを備えるドーナツ型であり,空間41sに回転側部材31における筒部31bの突出部31cを配置しているので,ステータ41の中心部の空間41sを有効に利用して,ホイール30の小型化を図ることができる。
(e)アクスル22の係合部22pを,軸線方向に関し,回転側部材31における筒部31bの突出部31cよりも固定側部材60側に突出させ,ロータ42を支持する回転側部材31と,ステータ41を支持する固定側部材60とを軸線方向において近づけた際,図4に示すように,ロータ42とステータ41とがオーバーラップする前に,係合部22pが固定側部材60と係合する(係合を開始する)構成となっているので,ロータ42とステータ41との間に生じる吸着力が強くなる前に係合部22pを固定側部材60に係合させることができる。したがって,上記ユニット化を容易に行うことができる。
(f)固定側部材60は,一対のアーム20L,20Rのうちの一方のアーム20Rに固定される円板部61と,この円板部61の円周部から回転側部材31側に延びていてステータ41およびロータ42を覆う円筒部60bとを有する構成とし,その円筒部60bの環状端部60eと回転側部材31とを車両の中心線C上でオーバーラップさせているので,水等が入り難い位置でラビリンスシール35を構成することが可能になる。
(g)円筒部60bの環状端部60eには回転側部材31側に向かって拡径する段部60dを設け,回転側部材31には軸線方向の凹凸31d1と,半径方向の凹凸301d2とを設けて前記ラビリンスシール35を構成したので,シール性を向上させることができる。
このユニットUの特徴は,アクスル(アクスルカラー)22の端部22bを小径状の円筒部として延長し,この延長部22bをボールベアリング26およびサイドカラー29と係合させることで,アクスルカラー22とボールベアリング26およびサイドカラー29との位置決めを行った点にある。
このように構成すると,アクスルカラー22に対する回転側部材31の回転中心の位置決めを確実に行うことができるとともに,車軸21のアクスルカラー22への挿入を,より円滑に行うことができるようになる。
したがって,ユニットU(したがってホイール30)を一対のアーム20L,20R間に組み付ける作業が一層容易になる。

Claims (7)
- ステータとロータとを有するモータが内部に配置され,前記ステータを支持する固定側部材と,前記ロータの回転が伝達される回転側部材とを備えたホイールを,一対のアーム間に車軸で支持した,駆動用モータを備える車両において,
前記ロータと回転側部材とをアクスルに回転可能に支持するとともに,前記固定側部材に対する回転側部材の回転中心を位置決めする前記固定側部材との係合部を前記アクスルに設け,該アクスルの係合部を前記固定側部材に係合させて前記回転側部材と固定側部材とをユニット化し,該ユニットを前記一対のアーム間に前記車軸で支持したことを特徴とする駆動用モータを備える車両。 - 前記ロータは前記回転側部材で支持したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
- 前記回転側部材は前記アクスルに回転可能に支持される筒部と,この筒部の外周に設けられたフランジ部とを有し,このフランジ部に前記ロータを締結するとともに,前記筒部は,その軸線方向に関して,前記ロータの締結部よりも突出させ,その突出部をベアリングを介して前記アクスルに支持したことを特徴とする請求項2記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
- 前記ロータは前記ステータの外周に位置するアウターロータとし,前記ステータはその中心部に空間を備えるドーナツ型に構成し,前記空間に前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部を配置したことを特徴とする請求項3記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
- 前記アクスルの係合部は,軸線方向に関し,前記回転側部材における筒部の突出部よりも前記固定側部材側に突出しており,前記ロータを支持する回転側部材と,前記ステータを支持する固定側部材とを軸線方向において近づけた際,前記ロータとステータとがオーバーラップする前に,前記係合部が固定側部材と係合する構成としたことを特徴とする請求項3または4記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
- 前記固定側部材は,前記一対のアームのうちの一方のアームに固定される円板部と,この円板部の円周部から前記回転側部材側に延びていて前記ステータおよびロータを覆う円筒部とを有し,この円筒部の環状端部と前記回転側部材側とを車両の中心線上でオーバーラップさせて,そのオーバーラップ部分でラビリンスシールを構成したことを特徴とする請求項1~5のうちいずれか一項に記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
- 前記円筒部の環状端部には前記回転側部材側に向かって拡径する段部を設け,前記回転側部材には軸線方向の凹凸と,半径方向の凹凸とを設けて前記ラビリンスシールを構成したことを特徴とする請求項6記載の駆動用モータを備える車両。
