Abstract
Description
しかし、ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩は、著しい曳糸性や粘着性を利用して、歯磨剤(特許文献1)、貼付剤、義歯固定剤等へ配合することが知られている。
また、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムを配合した外用剤として、曳糸性のある基剤を用いた整髪料が開示されている(特許文献2)。この整髪料はロウが必須成分であり界面活性剤で乳化しているため皮膚外用剤に応用しようとすると、べたつくものである。
さらにポリアクリル酸ナトリウムを配合した皮膚外用剤としては、水中油型エマルションが開示されている(特許文献3)。この水中油型エマルションは乳化剤として実質的に界面活性剤を含まず、べたつきがなく、伸びが軽い使用性が得られることを特徴としている。しかしながら、このポリアクリル酸ナトリウムと指定された乳化助剤による水中油型エマルションでは、十分な曳糸性やみずみずしさが得られにくく、また曳糸性やコク感が得られた場合でも曳糸性の経時安定性において問題が生じていた。
本発明は、前記従来技術に鑑みなされたものであり、その目的は、コク感に優れ、曳糸性を有しながら、肌へのなじみがよく、みずみずしく、乾いた際もべたつかないと共に、曳糸性の経時安定性もある水中油型皮膚外用剤を提供することにある。
(a)ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩 0.01~3.0質量%
(b)アルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマー 0.01~1.0質量%
(c)平均分子量1000以上50000以下のポリエチレングリコール 1.0~10.0質量%
(d)油分 0.5~20.0質量%
前記水中油型皮膚外用剤において、30cm/min.の速度における曳糸長が20mm以上、200mm以下であることが好適である。
前記(e)成分が、サクシノグルカン、ポリアクリルアミド、カルボキシビニルポリマー、キサンタンガムから選ばれる一種または二種以上であることが好適である。
前記水中油型皮膚外用剤において、更に、(f)成分として、親水性非イオン性界面活性剤または親水性アニオン性界面活性剤の一種または二種以上を含むことが好適である。
((a)ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩)
本発明においては、ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩を配合することで、手に取る際や皮膚に塗布した際に曳糸性が付与される。本発明にかかる水中油型皮膚外用剤は、このポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩の配合により曳糸性を有すると共に、皮膚上で伸ばした際に独特のコク感やリッチ感を得ることができる。水中油型皮膚外用剤に配合するポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩は、ナトリウム塩が好ましい。
ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩としては、例えば、アクアリックL-YS、アクアリックL-HL(日本触媒社製)、ジュリマーAC-10NP、ジュリマーAC-10P、アロンビスS、アロンビスSS(日本純薬社製)等が挙げられる。
すなわち、本発明にかかる水中油型皮膚外用剤は、30cm/min.の速度における曳糸長が20mm以上、200mm以下であることが好ましく、20mm以上、100mm以下であることが特に好ましい。曳糸長がこの範囲にある場合、皮膚上で伸ばす際に、特に顕著なコク感およびリッチ感が得られる。曳糸長があまりに短いと、曳糸性が感じられないと共に、十分なコク感が得られない場合がある。
ここで、30cm/min.の速度における曳糸長とは、30℃に調整し平坦に整えた試料の表面に、直径約1cmの丸型円盤を均一に軽く接触させ、30cm/min.の速度で試料を垂直に降下させた時に糸を曳く様子を観察し、接触時から糸が切れるまでの長さを測定したものである。
本発明で用いられるアルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーとしては、下記一般式(化1)で表される分子量が50万~300万のアクリル酸メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体がより好ましいが、特に限定されるものではない。
本発明の水中油型皮膚外用剤は、実質的にこのアルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーで乳化することにより、みずみずしく、乳化安定性の良い水中油型皮膚外用剤とすることができるが、本発明の効果を損ねない範囲において、界面活性剤による乳化が併用されていても良い。
本発明で用いられるポリエチレングリコールは、平均分子量1000以上50000以下のものである。好ましくは、平均分子量1000以上20000以下のものである。ポリエチレングリコールの平均分子量が小さすぎると、曳糸性の経時安定性を向上させることができず、平均分子量が大きすぎると、肌へのなじみが悪くなり、べたつきを生じるようになる。
本発明で用いられる油相に配合される油分は、通常化粧料用乳化組成物に用いられる油剤である。かかる油剤としては、天然動・植物油、合成油のいずれも使用でき、具体的には、流動パラフィン、スクワラン等の液状、ペースト状もしくは固形状の炭化水素、ワックス、高級脂肪酸、高級アルコール、エステル、グリセライド、又はシリコーン系油剤等が挙げられる。
本発明にかかる水中油型皮膚外用剤には、(e)成分として、上記(a)成分および(b)成分以外の増粘性の水溶性高分子を含むことが好適である。(e)成分を配合することにより、コク感などの使用性や曳糸性の経時安定性を更によくすることができる。
本発明にかかる水中油型皮膚外用剤には、さらに(f)成分として、親水性非イオン性界面活性剤または親水性アニオン性界面活性剤を含むことが好適である。親水性非イオン性界面活性剤または親水性アニオン性界面活性剤を配合することで、乳化安定性をより高めることができる。
かかる親水性非イオン性界面活性剤または親水性アニオン性界面活性剤としては、次のようなものがある。
実施例の説明に先立ち本発明で用いた試験の評価方法について説明する。
調整直後の試料を皮膚に塗布した際の曳糸性の有無について、下記評価方法に基づいて評価した。

調整直後の試料を皮膚に塗布し、試料が乾いた際のべたつきについて、20名の専門パネルによる官能試験にて評価した。採点基準は以下の通りである。

調整直後の試料の曳糸長(A)と、50℃恒温槽に1ヶ月間保管した試料の曳糸長(B)を測定し、曳糸性の経時での安定性について、下記評価方法に基づいて評価した。

なお、調整直後の試料の曳糸長が20mm未満の場合も×と評価した。
調整直後の試料を、30℃に調整し、平坦に整えた試料の表面に、直径約1cmのステンレス製丸型円盤を均一に軽く接触させ、30cm/min.の速度で試料を垂直に降下させた時に糸を曳く様子を観察し、糸が切れたときの長さを測定した。
調整直後の試料を、VDA型粘度計(芝浦システム株式会社
DIGITAL VISMETRON VDA)を用いて、ローターNo.3またはNo.4を使用し、回転数12rpm、1分間の条件で測定した。
調整直後の試料を皮膚に塗布した際の肌へのなじみを、20名の専門パネルによる官能試験にて評価した。採点基準は以下の通りである。

そして、各試料を評価項目(1)について上記評価方法で評価し、(5)について上記方法で測定を行い、評価した。さらに、専門パネルには、各試料を評価項目(2)~(4)について上記採点基準にて評価してもらい、採点の合計を下記専門パネル評価方法に基づき評価した。結果を表1に示す。
・専門パネル評価方法
◎:合計点が80点以上である。
○:合計点が60点以上80点未満である。
△:合計点が40点以上60点未満である。
×:合計点が40点未満である。
ヒアルロン酸を配合した試験例1-2では、試料は曳糸性があり、コク感および曳糸性の経時安定性にもやや優れていたが、みずみずしさ、べたつきのなさにやや劣るものであった。
キサンタンガムを配合した試験例1-3では、試料は曳糸性があり、コク感および曳糸性の経時安定性にもやや優れていたが、みずみずしさにやや劣り、非常にべたつくものであった。
グリセリンを配合した試験例1-4では、試料はべたつきが全くなく、みずみずしさにもやや優れていたが、曳糸性はなく、全くコク感が感じられなかった。
本発明者らは、下記表2に記載した配合組成なる試料を調製した。試験例2-1~2-4については、常法により製造した。また、試験例2-5~2-9については下記製造方法に基づき、水中油型皮膚外用剤(美容液)を製造した。
ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム以外の水相を調製後、油相を水相に徐々に添加した。他成分の乳化終了後に、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムを添加、溶解し、ホモジナイザーにより攪拌を行った。

ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムに、アルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーおよびデキストリンを配合した試験例2-2は、試料は優れたコク感を有していたが、みずみずしさおよび曳糸性の経時安定性にやや劣り、非常にべたつきを有するものであった。
ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムに、カルボキシビニルポリマーおよびポリエチレングリコールを配合した試験例2-3は、試料は優れたコク感を有すると共に、曳糸性も経時でやや安定なものであったが、みずみずしさにやや劣り、非常にべたつきも有するものであった。
ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムに、カルボキシビニルポリマーおよびデキストリンを配合した試験例2-4は、試料は優れたコク感を有していたが、みずみずしさおよび曳糸性の経時安定性にやや劣り、非常にべたつきも有するものであった。
また、試験例2-1に油分を配合し、水中油型皮膚外用剤にした試験例2-5は、試料は優れたコク感を有すると共に、みずみずしさ、乾いた際のべたつきのなさといった使用性に非常に優れ、曳糸性も経時で安定なものであった。
試験例2-2に油分を配合し、水中油型皮膚外用剤にした試験例2-6は、試料は優れたコク感を有すると共に、みずみずしさに優れ、べたつきのなさにやや優れていたが、曳糸性の経時安定性にやや劣るものであった。
試験例2-3に油分を配合し、水中油型皮膚外用剤にした試験例2-7は、試料は優れたコク感を有すると共に、曳糸性も経時でやや安定なものであったが、みずみずしさ、べたつきのなさといった使用性にやや劣るものであった。
試験例2-4に油分を配合し、水中油型皮膚外用剤にした試験例2-8は、試料は優れたコク感を有していたが、みずみずしさ、べたつきのなさといった使用性に満足のいくものではなく、曳糸性も経時でやや安定でなかった。
また、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムを水中油型皮膚外用剤に配合した試験例2-9は、試料は優れたコク感を有していたが、べたつきのなさにやや劣り、みずみずしさおよび曳糸性の経時安定性に劣るものであった。
本発明者らは、下記表3および表4に記載した配合組成なる試料を調整し、下記製造方法に基づき、水中油型皮膚外用剤(美容液)を製造した。
<試験例3-1~3-11、試験例4-1~4-6>
下記表3、表4に示す組成の美容液を常法(水相を調製後、油相を水相に徐々に添加する方法)により調製した。ただしポリアクリル酸ナトリウムによって得られる曳糸長は、ホモジナイザーなどの物理的シェアにより容易に短くなる。そのため他成分の溶解や乳化終了後に添加並びに溶解し、更にホモジナイザーにより攪拌することで好ましい曳糸長に調整した。
<試験例4-7>
下記表4に示す試験例4-7の組成の美容液を上記のような常法により調製した。
しかし、ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩を配合していない試験例4-1は、肌へのなじみやべたつきのなさの点では優れていたが、曳糸長に劣り、みずみずしさにもやや劣るものであった。
また、アルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーを配合していない試験例4-2は、曳糸長はあるものの、曳糸性の経時安定性に劣り、また使用性にも著しい問題を生じるものであった。
また、ポリエチレングリコールを配合していない試験例4-3は、使用性はよかったものの、曳糸性が経時でやや劣ってしまうものであった。
また、平均分子量400のポリエチレングリコールを配合した試験例4-4は、使用性には優れていたが、曳糸性の経時安定性にやや劣るものであった。
また、平均分子量200000の高重合ポリエチレングリコールを配合した試験例4-5は、曳糸性は経時で非常に安定していたが、使用性の面で著しい問題を生じるものであった。
また、ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩およびアルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーおよび平均分子量6000のポリエチレングリコールを配合しているが、油分を配合していない試験例4-6では、試料は水中油型皮膚外用剤を形成できず、肌へのなじみおよび曳糸性の経時安定性には優れていたが、みずみずしさにやや劣るとともに、べたつきのなさに劣るものであった。
また、試験例3-2と同じ成分である、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムおよびアルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマーおよび平均分子量6000のポリエチレングリコールを配合しているが、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウムを乳化終了後に添加しなかった試験例4-7では、みずみずしさ、肌へのなじみやべたつきのなさの点では優れていたが、曳糸長に劣り、またコク感に非常に劣るものであった。

Claims (5)
- 次の(a)~(d)成分を含み、曳糸性を有することを特徴とする水中油型皮膚外用剤。
(a)ポリアクリル酸またはその金属塩 0.01~3.0質量%
(b)アルキル変性カルボキシビニルポリマー 0.01~1.0質量%
(c)平均分子量1000以上50000以下のポリエチレングリコール 1.0~10.0質量%
(d)油分 0.5~20.0質量% - 更に、(e)成分として、上記(a)成分および(b)成分以外の水溶性高分子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水中油型皮膚外用剤。
- 30cm/min.の速度における曳糸長が20mm以上、200mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の水中油型皮膚外用剤。
- 前記(e)成分が、サクシノグルカン、ポリアクリルアミド、カルボキシビニルポリマー、キサンタンガムから選ばれる一種または二種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の水中油型皮膚外用剤。
- 更に、(f)成分として、親水性非イオン性界面活性剤または親水性アニオン性界面活性剤の一種または二種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の水中油型皮膚外用剤。
