Abstract

上下に配置された一対のエンドレスベルトにおけるスラブ冷却の不均衡を解消する双ベルト式鋳造装置を提供することを課題とする。エンドレスベルト２を備え上下に対峙する一対の回転ベルト部３と、この一対の回転ベルト部３の間に形成されるキャビティー４と、回転ベルト部３の内部に設けられた冷却手段１０とを備え、キャビティー４内に金属溶湯が供給されて連続的にスラブＳを鋳造する双ベルト式鋳造機１であって、上下に対峙する一対の回転ベルト部３の少なくとも一方の内部に、スラブＳとエンドレスベルト２とが離間する部分に応じて、エンドレスベルト２をスラブＳから離間又は近接させる距離調節手段を備えたことを特徴とする。
