Abstract

 本発明は、設計の自由度を確保するとともにエネルギー効率の高い磁気アクチュエータ、磁気アクチュエータの動作方法およびこれを用いたカプセル型内視鏡を提供することを目的とする。本発明にかかる磁気アクチュエータは、ハウジング2と、ハウジング2内に設置された回転移動磁石6および固定磁石7と、ハウジング2外に配置されたコイル3,4と、ハウジング2内に設けられた誘導領域2aと、を備える。回転移動磁石6および固定磁石7は、磁化方向を含む平面内で相対的に回転可能である。コイル3,4は、回転移動磁石6および固定磁石7が互いに反発力を発生する方向に回転移動磁石6を相対的に回転させる磁界を発生する。回転移動磁石6は、発生した反発力によって相対的に移動する方向を誘導領域2aによって制御される。
