To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, BERNARD MORABAN, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and State of New York,

have invented acertain new and improved Wash-Tub; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact'description thereof.

My tub is made of crockery or analogous ceramic ware, in one piece, and in a peculiar form. It has an inclined side,whieh s-ridged or ilutd onl the inner surface, to serve as a wash-board.

The accompanying drawings form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a side elevation;

Figure 2 is a vertical section; and

Figure 3 is a plan view.

Fig. 1 also represents, in red outline, a section of the wall. of a building, a supporting-frame, and certain pipes which supply and carry away water.

Similar letters of reference indicate like parts in all the figures.

When manufacturing the tubs in the large way, I

propose to press properly-kneaded clay into the desired' shape by pressurex between metallic or Aother suitable forms. They are afterwards dried, glazed, and burnt vin the ordinary manner, all the precautions necessary in baking large objects being employed in the burningoperation.
