BAG-HANDLE AND BRACELET.

To. alt whom it may concern:
-Be it known that I, GUSTAV AUSLANDER, a
subject of the Emperor of Austria-Hungary,
residing at the city of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain new and' useful Improvements in BagdIandles and Bracelets,
of which the following is.a specification.
'the' manner shown in the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 is a-view of my improved] e on a bag; Fig. 2 a' view of my handle taehed for use as a bracelet; and Fig.3 a sectional view of the watch holding pocket.
Any suitablebag 1 is provided with means 2, 2 for detachably securing a handle band 3 thereto, the securing means shown comprising buckles, one of which is attached to the bag and the other to the handle band. At the middle portion of the handle band a piece of material is attached to form a pocket 5 adapted to receive a watch 6 The handle bandproper is provided with an aperture 7 through which the face of the watch can be seen.
To prevent the accidental displacement of the watch two straps 8, S are secured to the handle band and carried over the open end of the pocket, partially closing'it, the free ends of the strap being fastened to the handle band by catches S), 9.
In use as a bag handle the watch carrying band is fastened to the bag as shown in Fig. 1 and when used as a bracelet it is detached and the ends fastened together as shown in Fig. 2.
I claim 1. In a hand bag, the combination of a bag body; a handle comprising a band; means for detachably securing it to the body, said means also being adapted to secure the ends of the band together when detached; and means for detachably securing a watchfto said handle. v
2. In a hand bag the combination of a bag 5 body; ahandle comprising a band with an apertured pocket therein ada ated to receive a watch; means for (letachably securing the handle to the bag, said meansbeing also adapted to secure the ends of the band together when detached from the bag.
3. In a hand bag the combination of a bag body; a handle comprising a band with an. apertnred pocket therein adapted to receive a watch; means for partially closing said 5 pocket; means for 'detachably securing the andle to the bag, said means being also adapted to secure the ends of the handle together when removed from the bag.
4. In a hand bag the combination of a bag 35 body; a handle comprising a band provided with an apertured pocket adapted to receive a watch; straps secured to the band adjacent tothe pocket and adapted to partially close the same; means for securing the free ends of the straps to the band; and means for detachably securing the handle to the bag, said means being also adapted to secure the ends .of the handle together when detached.
