Description
- 1. Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a box and, more particularly, to a colorful combinative box.
- 2. Related Prior Art
- A conventional box is made by plastic injection molding. After the box is made, it is provided with patterns by spraying paint to it or attaching stickers to it. With the patterns, the box is colorful and aesthetically pleasing for getting customers' attention. However, the patterns do not last since they are often scratched or fade away because of extreme weather or simply aging.
- To overcome the foregoing question, a protective transparent film could be provided on the patterns protect the patterns. However, again, the film is often scratched or peeled for including a different thermal expansion coefficient from that of the box.
- The present invention is therefore intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.
- According to the present invention, a colorful combinative box includes a plurality of wall members made of various colors and a floor member. Each of the wall members includes an upper edge, a lower edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge joined to the first lateral edge of an adjacent one of the wall members. The floor member is attached to lower edges of the wall members so that the colorful combinative box is made.
- The primary advantage of the colorful combinative box according to the present invention is an aesthetically pleasing appearance that lasts much long.
- Other advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description referring to the drawings.
- The present invention will be described through detailed illustration of three embodiments referring to the drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a colorful combinative box according to the first embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the colorful combinative box shown inFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is another exploded view of the colorful combinative box shown inFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 4 is an exploded partial view of a colorful combinative box according to the second embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is an exploded partial view of a colorful combinative box according to the third embodiment of the present invention. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 through 3 , there is shown a colorful combinative box according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The colorful combinative box includes afirst wall member 10, asecond wall member 10′, afloor member 30 and aferrule 40. Thewall members ferrule 40. Thefloor member 30 is attached to thewall members - The
first wall member 10 includes amajor portion 11 and twominor portions 12. Themajor portion 11 and theminor portions 12 are made into one piece. However, there is afold line 13 between themajor portion 11 and each of theminor portions 12. The thickness of thefold line 13 is smaller than that of the rest of thefirst wall member 10 so that theminor portions 12 can be pivoted relative to themajor portion 11, i.e., thefirst wall member 10 can be transformed into a three-dimensional structure from a two-dimensional structure. - The
major portion 11 is formed with anupper edge 111 and alower edge 112 shorter than theupper edge 111. Themajor portion 11 is provided with a ferrule holder extended along theupper edge 111. The ferrule holder includes ahorizontal portion 113 and a retroflex portion 114. Thehorizontal portion 113 is inwardly extended from theupper edge 111 of themajor portion 11. The retroflex portion 114 is downwardly and outwardly extended from thehorizontal portion 113. The ferrule holder is suitable for holding theferrule 40. The ferrule holder and themajor portion 11 are made separate from each other by injection molding and joined to each other by high frequency. - Each of the
minor portions 12 includes anupper edge 121, alower edge 122 shorter than theupper edge 121 and alateral edge 14 extended from theupper edge 121 to thelower edge 122. Thelateral edge 14 is wave-shaped. Each of theminor portions 12 is provided with a ferrule holder extended along theupper edge 121. The ferrule holder includes ahorizontal portion 123 and aretroflex portion 124. Thehorizontal portion 123 is inwardly extended from theupper edge 121 of each of theminor portions 12. Theretroflex portion 124 is downwardly and outwardly extended from thehorizontal portion 123. The ferrule holders provided on theminor portions 12 are suitable for holding theferrule 40. - The
second wall member 10′ is substantially identical to thefirst wall member 10. In specific, the second wall member 110′ includes amajor portion 11′ and twominor portions 12′. Themajor portion 11′ includes anupper edge 111′ and alower edge 112′. Themajor portion 11′ is provided with a ferrule holder that includes ahorizontal portion 113′ and a retroflex portion 114′. Each of theminor portions 12′ includes anupper edge 121′, alower edge 122′ and alateral edge 14′. Each of theminor portions 12′ is provided with a ferrule holder that includes ahorizontal portion 123′ and ahorizontal portion 124′. However, thelateral edge 14′ is compliant to thelateral edge 14, not identical. - The
floor member 30 is made with fouredges 31. Theedges 31 of thefloor member 30 are joined to thelower edges first wall member 10 and thelower edges 112′ and 122′ of thesecond wall member 10′. - The
ferrule 40 is shaped corresponding to thefloor member 30. An area defined within theferrule 40 is larger than the area of thefloor member 30. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , shown is a wall member 20 for use in a colorful combinative box according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Like thewall members major portion 21 and twominor portions 22. Themajor portion 21 includes anupper edge 211 and alower edge 212. Themajor portion 21 is provided with a ferrule holder that includes ahorizontal portion 213 and aretroflex portion 214. Each of theminor portions 22 includes anupper edge 221 and alower edge 222. One of theminor portions 22 includes alateral edge 24 while the remaining one of theminor portions 22 includes alateral edge 24′ compliant to thelateral edge 24, not identical. Hence, two identical wall members 20 can be joined to each other. Unlike the colorful combinative box according to the first embodiment that includes two different wall members, the colorful combinative box according to the second embodiment includes two identical wall members. Therefore, the cost of the colorful combinative box according to the second embodiment includes is lower than the colorful combinative box according to the first embodiment. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , shown is a wall member 50 for use in a colorful combinative box according to a third embodiment of the present invention. Like the wall member 20 of the second embodiment, the wall member 50 includes amajor portion 51 and twominor portions 52. Themajor portion 51 includes anupper edge 511 and alower edge 512. Themajor portion 51 is provided with a ferrule holder that includes a horizontal portion 513 and aretroflex portion 514. Each of theminor portions 52 includes anupper edge 521 and alower edge 522. One of theminor portions 52 includes a lateral edge 54 while the remaining one of theminor portions 52 includes a lateral edge 54′ compliant to the lateral edge 54. However, the lateral edges 54 and 54′ are serrate instead of the wave-like shape of the lateral edges 24 and 24′. - For example, the area of the
floor member 30 may be substantially equal to the area defined by theferrule 40. For instance, thefloor member 30 may be made of any other appropriate shape instead of a square. Moreover, the wall members and theferrule 40 may be made of shape other than that of thefloor member 30. Furthermore, there may be more than two wall members. - The colorful combinative box according to the present invention exhibits several advantages. Firstly, it provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance that lasts much longer than the conventional box addressed in the Related Prior Art does. Secondly, it provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance different from that of the conventional box mentioned in the Related Prior Art.
- The present invention has been described through the illustration of the embodiments. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments shall not limit the scope of the present invention defined in the claims.
