Abstract

In the separate level control for the righthand and the lefthand side of the vehicle of vehicles with air suspension, it may happen that at the end of level control, the pressure in the lefthand air suspension element differs considerably from the pressure in the righthand air suspension element. This can exert a considerable negative influence on the handling and the traction. A connecting line (35) with a valve (38) of variable flow cross-section is arranged between two air suspension elements (1, 2). By opening the connecting line (35) as a function of the level and/or time, any pressure difference between the two air suspension elements (1, 2) can be reduced. The vehicle suspension according to the invention is intended for vehicles with air suspension in which at least two air suspension elements can be actuated independently of one another. <IMAGE>
