В процессе приготовления массы для производства плит используют гидропушитель, в который подают воду (с избытком) и макулатуру, предварительно нарезанную на куски площадью 2-16 см2. После распушивания макулатуры из образовавшейся массы удаляют излишнее количество воды, перекачивают ее в емкость, где массу перемешивают в течение 10-15 мин с мочевиноформальдегидной смолой, крахмалом. Затем добавляют карбонатный песок, гидролизный лигнин фосфогипс и осуществляют перемешивание еще в течение 1-3 мин.
