SE REFIERE A UNA FORMULACION QUE COMPRENDE ACIDO 1-CICLOPROPIL-7-((S,S)-2,8-DIAZABICICLO(4.3.0)NON-8-IL)-6-FLUOR-1,4-DIHIDRO-8-METOXI-4-OXO-3-QUINOLONCARBOXILICO O SU MONOHIDRATO (MOXIFLOXACIN), CON UNA LIBERACION INICIAL DE MENOS DEL 60% EN LA PRIMERA HORA Y CON UNA LIBERACION MEDIA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE EL 80% EN 2 HORAS Y EL 80% EN 16 HORAS. LA COMPOSICION SE PUEDE PRESENTAR EN FORMA DE AGLOMERADOS DE DIFUSION CONTROLADA, O EN FORMA DE UNA MEZCLA DE AGLOMERADOS NEUTROS REVESTIDOS DE SUSTANCIA ACTIVA Y UN AGENTE AGLUTINANTE (HIDROXIPROPILMETILCELULOSA O POLIVINILPIRROLIDONA), QUE ESTAN REVESTIDOS CON UNA CAPA DE DIFUSION O LACA DE DIFUSION. LA CAPA O LACA DE DIFUSION COMPRENDE UN POLIMERO FORMADOR DE PELICULA (ETILCELULOSA) Y UN PLASTIFICANTE O UN FORMADOR DE POROS.
