Abstract

본 발명은 유리가판에 복수의 게이트 선과 데이터 선이 절연막을 사이에 두고 서로 직교한 형태로 배열되고 이들의 각 교차점에 인접하여 그 게이트선 및 데이터선에 반도체막과 에치스토퍼막을 게재해서 접속된 소오스 및 드레인 전극과 상기 드레인 전극에 접속된 화소전극으로 구성되는 액정 표시소자에 있어서, 상기 게이트선 상부에 이 게이트 선의 배선 쪽보다 넓게 상기 반도체막과 에치스토퍼막을 형성하되, 에치스토퍼막 보다는 반도체막의 배선 쪽을 더 넓게 형성함으로써, 후속 에칭공정시 에칭용액으로부터 게이트 선을 보호할 수 있다.According to the present invention, a source in which a plurality of gate lines and data lines are arranged orthogonal to each other with an insulating film interposed therebetween on a glass substrate, and is connected to each other by placing a semiconductor film and an etch stopper film on the gate line and the data line adjacent thereto. 유리기판에 복수의 게이트 선과 데이터 선이 절연막을 사이에 두고 서로 직교한 형태로 배열되고 이들의 각 교차점에 인접하여 그 게이트 선 및 데이터 선에 반도체막과 에치스토퍼막을 게재해서 접속된 소오스 및 드레인 전극과 상기 드레인 전극에 접속된 화소전극으로 구성되는 액정 표시소자에 있어서, 상기 게이트선 상부에 이 게이트 선의 배선 쪽보다 넓게 상기 반도체막과 에치스토퍼막을 형성하되. 에치스토퍼막 보다는 반도체막의 배선 쪽을 더 넓게 형성함을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.Source and drain electrodes connected to each other by a plurality of gate lines and data lines arranged on the glass substrate in an orthogonal form with an insulating film interposed therebetween, and having a semiconductor film and an etch stopper film connected to the gate lines and the data lines adjacent to their intersections.
