Claims (22)
- 제1면 및 제2면을 지니는 동체와, 상기 제1면과 제2면의 접합부에 위치한 절삭 에쥐( cutting dege) 를 포함하는 절삭공구에 있어서, 상기 동체는 기층및 ,기층에 부착 결합된 피복으로 구성되고, 상기 기층은 공구강, 초경합금(cemented carbide) 및 세르멧 (cermet)으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 경질 재료로 구성되고, 상기 피복은 , 물리적 증기 증착에 의해 증착된 IVB 그룹 금속 질화물로 구성되어 상기 기층에 부착 결합된 제1층을 지니고, 상기 피복은 물리적 증기 정착에 의해 증착된 IVB 그룹 금속 탄소질화물을 구성되어 상기 제1층의 외측에 부착 결합된 제2층을 지니고, 상기 피복은 물리적 증기 증착에 의해 증착된 IVB 그룹 금속 질화물로 구성되어 상기 제2층의 외측에 부착 결합된 제3층을 지니고, 여기에서 상기 피복은 약 350kg/㎟을 초과하는 평균압축 잔류 응력을 포함하는 절삭공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축 잔류 응력은 약 400kg/㎟ 을 초과하는 절삭공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 1마이크로미터를 초과하고 3마이크로미터 미만인 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 1마이크로미터를 초과하고 3마이크로미터 미만인 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 약 1.5내지 약 2.5 마이크로미터의 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기층은 초경합금(cemented carbide)인 절삭공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3층은 티타늄 질화물로 구성된 절삭공구.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제3층은 티타늄 질화물로 구성된 절삭공구.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제2층은 티타늄 탄소질화물로 구성되고 상기 제1층은 티타늄 질화물로 구성된 절삭 공구.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제2층은 티타늄 탄소질화물로 구성되고 상기 제1층은 티타늄 질화물로 구성된 절삭공구.
- 제1면 및 제2면을 지닌 동체와 상기 제1면과 제2면의 접합부에 위치한 절삭 에쥐를 포함한 절삭공구에 있어서, 상기 동체는 기층 및, 기층에 부착 결합된 피복으로 구성되고, 상기 기층은 공구강, 초경합금 및 세르멧으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 경질 재료로 구성되고, 상기 피복은, 물리적 증기 증착에 의해 증착된 IVB 그룹 금속 질화물로 구성되어 상기 기층에 부착 결합된 제1층을 지니고, 상기 피복은 물리적 증기 증착에 의해 중착된 IVB 그룹 금속 탄소질화물을 구성되어 상기 제1층의 외측에 부착 결합된 제3층을 지니고, 여기에서 상기 피복은 약2600 내지 3100kg/㎟의 평균적인 Vickers 경도수(50gm/하중)를 지니는 절삭 공구.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 평균 Vickers 경도수는 약2750 내지 3100kg/㎟ 절삭공구.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 1마이크로미터를 초과하고 3마이크로미터 미만인 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 1마이크로미터를 초과하고 3마이크로미터 미만인 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 제1층은 약 1.5 내지 약 2.5.마이크로미터인 두께를 지니는 절삭공구.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 기층은 초경합금인 절삭공구.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제3층은 티타늄 질화물로 구성된 절삭공구.

- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 피복은 350kg/㎟을 초과하는 평균적인 압축 잔류 응력으로 특징지워지는 절삭공구.
