상기 촉매 복합체가 단일 브릭(brick) 시스템인 경우, 상기 전면 단일 촉매 층은 전면 구역을 형성하고 상기 배면 이중 층은 배면 구역을 형성하고, 또는 상기 촉매 복합체가 다중-브릭 시스템인 경우, 상기 전면 단일 층은 전면 브릭에 위치하고 상기 배면 이중 층은 배면 브릭에 위치하는, 촉매 복합체. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 촉매 층이 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 1중량% 미만의 산소 저장 성분(OSC)을 포함하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 층들의 상기 PGM(백금족 금속) 함량이,
전면 단일 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 0.01 내지 12.0중량%;
제1 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 0.05 내지 6.0중량%; 및
제2 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 0.01 내지 2중량%인, 촉매 복합체. - 제3항에 있어서, 상기 전면 단일 촉매 층 및 상기 제1 촉매 층이 PGM으로서 팔라듐만을 포함하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 촉매 층이 백금족 금속 화합물로서 백금을 포함하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 층들의 상기 백금 함량이,
전면 단일 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 0.05 내지 12.0중량%; 및
제2 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 중량을 기준으로 0.01 내지 5.0중량%인, 촉매 복합체. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 층들의 중량을 기준으로 한 상기 산소 저장 성분(OSC)의 함량이,
전면 단일 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 10 내지 80중량%; 및
제2 촉매 층 - 상기 층의 10 내지 80중량%인, 촉매 복합체. - 제1항에 있어서, 탄화수소 저장 및 NOx 저장 촉매들로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 배기 처리 물질들을 추가로 포함하고, 이로써, 상기 HC 저장 및 NOx 저장 층이 언더코트 WC(washcoat) 층으로서 상기 기재 위에 위치하여, 상기 전면 구역 또는 전면 브릭 및/또는 상기 배면 구역 또는 배면 브릭을 형성하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄화수소 저장 및 NOx 저장 촉매들로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 배기 처리 물질을 추가로 포함하고, 이로써, 상기 HC 저장 및 NOx 저장 층이 상부 또는 오버코트 WC 층으로서 위치하여, 상기 전면 구역 또는 전면 브릭 및/또는 상기 배면 구역 또는 배면 브릭을 형성하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매 복합체가, HC 저장 물질 또는 NOx 저장 물질로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 물질을 포함하는 언더코트 층(UC) 위에 적어도 부분적으로 침착되는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매 복합체가 주입구 축 말단, 배출구 축 말단, 상기 주입구 축 말단과 상기 배출구 축 말단 사이에서 연장되는 길이를 갖는 벽 부재들(wall elements), 및 상기 벽 부재들에 의해 한정되고 축 방향으로 둘러싸인 복수의 채널들을 포함하고;
여기서, 상기 전면 단일 촉매 층은, 상기 주입구 축 말단에 인접한 상기 벽 부재들 위에 침착되고 상기 벽 부재들의 벽 길이 미만으로 연장되는 길이를 가져서 상기 전면 구역을 형성하고;
상기 배면 이중 층의 상기 제1 및 제2 촉매 층은, 상기 배출구 축 말단에 인접한 상기 벽 부재들 위에 침착되고 상기 벽 부재들의 길이 미만으로 연장되는 길이를 가져서 상기 배면 구역을 형성하는, 촉매 복합체. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전면 단일 층이 벽 유동 필터의 주입구 채널들 위에 침착되어 상기 전면 구역을 형성하고, 상기 제1 및 제2 촉매 층이 상기 벽 유동 필터의 상기 주입구 및/또는 배출구 채널들 위에 침착되어 상기 배면 구역을 형성하는, 촉매 복합체.
- 제1항에 따른 촉매 복합체를 포함하는, 화학량론적 조건하에 실질적으로 수행되는 연소 엔진의 배기 가스의 정제를 위한 배기 처리 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 가솔린 미립자 필터, NOx 저장 장치 및 HC 저장 장치로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 배기 처리 장치들을 추가로 포함하는, 배기 처리 시스템.
- 화학량론적 조건하에 실질적으로 수행되는 연소 엔진의 배기 가스를 처리하는 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
탄화수소, 일산화탄소 및 질소 산화물을 포함하는 기체 스트림을 제1항의 촉매 복합체와 접촉시킴을 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 촉매 복합체는, 실질적으로 동시에, 상기 일산화탄소 및 상기 탄화수소를 산화시키고 상기 질소 산화물을 환원시키는데 효과적인, 방법.
